    dear friend,

if your college or university from which you have done graduation in distance mode is recognized
and your age is in between 21 years to 30 years.
then you can definitely apply for UPSC exams.

And there is relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates(3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).

    Good Luck...........

Re: Am I eligible to apply for UPSC exam after doing graduation in distance education?

    Dear

if your university is recognized and approved by the ugc/aicet. then you are eligible of the civil service exam. distance education/correspondence study/regular study is no

matter for the civil service exam. upsc required only the graduation in any stream for the recognized university. percentage of marks is no matter for the exam

the age limit for the civil service exam is:-

The age limit is for general category is 21 to 30 years. And attempt the exam 4 times.

The age limit is for obc category is 21 to 33 years (3 years relaxation). Attempt the exam 7 times.

Age limit for SC/ST category is 21 to 35 years and attempt chance till overage. Means unlimited

best of luck for the future

UPSC conducts many exams like Civil services exams for entry into 20 different posts.

It also conducts exams for NDA, SCRA etc.

To give any UPSC Exam, graduation is the basic eligibility criteria.

Graduation from recognized University is needed.

You need to satisfy one more criteria i.e age.

Candidate must attain 21 years of age and must not attain 30 years of age for general category.

There is Upper age relaxation as follows for reserved category candidates.

    3 years for OBC.

    5 years for SC/ST.

Hence if you satisfy the above mentioned eligibility criteria, then you can give these exams.

    Exam Pattern:

    Prelims

    Mains

    Interview.

There is restriction on the number of attempts for this exam.

    4 attempts for general

    7 attempts for OBC.

    No limit for SC/ST.
