Re: Am I eligible for Civil Services Exam after Diploma in Nautical Science from Indian Maritime University?

No, you can't apply for the CSAT examination, as it requires the Bachelor degree in any discipline at any recognized university as its essential qualification. Your Diploma course is not equal to the Bachelor degree. So you have to pass the B.sc in Natural Science, then you will be eligible to apply. To know more details please visit www.upsc.gov.in Thanks..... Best of Luck.....

Re: Am I eligible for Civil Services Exam after Diploma in Nautical Science from Indian Maritime University?

    beniwal & jagan:
Kindly re-read my post. It's not a simple diploma, it's DNS that leads to b.sc nautical science(refer imu.edu.in).
what i asked was if this has got the eligibility criteria for CSE, as it is not a 3year classroom program, but 1year classroom=DNS. Then 1.5year on ship+6months classroom=B.Sc nautical science. Thanks for replying anyway.

Thanks for replying. The information was useful.
