    Am I eligible for IES exam being a partially color blind candidate?

    hello Sir,
    i am partial coour blind .... can i eligible in ies ....

    Yes

    you can apply for the IES exam.

    IES exam stands for INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE EXAM.

    This exam is conducted by UPSC once in a year.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR IES EXAM

    >>You must have bachelor degree in engineering in the following streams;

    --- Mechanical

    ---Electrical

    ---Electronics & communication

    ---Civil


    >>Your age must lies in between 21-30 years.

    >>You must be Indian

    There is no criteria for the physical standard for the candidates so you can apply for the IES exam.

    Dont worry you can apply for IES exam as there is no defined criteria of physically fintness so you are eligible.

    Eligibility Criteria of IES Exam:


    Age Limits
    :


    Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on August 1st on year of conduct of examination ( upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs,OBCs and certain others )

    Educational Qualifications
    :

    Degree in :
    Electrical Engineering
    Electronics & Communications Engineering
    Civil Engineering
    Mechanical Engineering

    or equivalent degree from recognized universities.

    M.Sc. degree or equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject is also acceptable for certain posts.
    Students of final year Engineering or equivalent degree are also eligible.

    You can eligible for Indian Engineering Service Exam,There is no defined criteria of physically fitness, So you are eligible.

    hi
    there is no such reservation for the color blindness in giving the IES exam. the criteria for giving the IES exam is that you should be a graduate in the engineering stream from mechanical/electrical/civil/electronics and communication engineering and your age should be in between 21-30 years of age.
    The reservation is given for the obc and the sc/st candidates. A relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to them respectively.

    I.E.S --- INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES


    Yeah

    You are definitely eligible to apply for it


    You must have a minimum of GRADUATION

    And the minimum age must be 21 years

    Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years


    Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the Reserved candidates

    The below discipline candidates only need to apply for it

    <<>> Mechanical Engineering

    <<>> Electrical Engineering

    <<>> Electronics Engineering ...

    yes you can apply for ies
    you must possess degree in any of the following engineering
    civil
    mechanical
    ece
    eee
    production
    you must be between the age limit of 21 to 30
