Dear, you are quite eligible for UPSC exam after completion of BCA. But only ITI certificate will not fulfill your eligibility criteria for UPSC Candidature. But, Computer Application is not included in Optional Subjects of UPSC. So, you have to choose another subjects for Optional Papers. Its best to choose Arts stream Subjects for scoring and understanding in a short period of time. So, go ahead.....Good Luck....

Re: Am I eligible for UPSC exam after doing ITI + BCA (Distance)?

    Dear Friend

you have not mentioned which UPSC exam because UPSC conducts a very large no of examinations like:

    1.NDA/NA exam

    2.Civil services examinations

    3.CDS

    4.SCRA

    5.IES

    6.IFS

    7.CAPF

    8.CMS etc.

The minimum qualifications required for the examinations like civil services, combined defence services and central armed police force examination is graduation.

So,dear your are eligible for the UPSC exams after completing BCA that stands for the bachelor of computer applications which is three year bachelor's degree but the condition is that your institution must be approved from distance ducation council.

Other than these qualification you need to have some other requirements also:

1.You need to be between 21-30 years.

2.If you belong to general category then you will have only four attempts for civil services

3.For CDS age limitations is 19-25 years.

4.For CAPF it is between 20-25 years.

    Hope the information helps you.

    all the best

    Hi friend,

Well mine friend, you have not cleared yet about which examination you are talking about.

There are many examinations conducted BY UPSC and UPSC is not an exam.

It's a commission itself which conducts examinations.

If you mean about civil services then yes you are eligible.

    WHY??

BEcause everybody who holds Graduation degree is eligible for Civil services,

If in your case approved by DEC.

    SO, best of Luck!!

    Hope it helps!!
