    Am I eligible for UPSC exams after completion of BCA course? What is the minimum percentage required for appearing in UPSC exam?

    My name is Rajnish kumar. I complete BCA. Am i eligible for UPSC exam.what is the minimum percentage required for appearing in UPSC exam.

    Dear,
    There is not required of any percentage as the qualification is only to pass the Bachelor degree at any recognized university. So as a BCA candidate you can apply for it, if you have attained the age of 21 year. Thanks and Best of Luck

    no minimum percentage set by UPSC to appear in the exam you need to be just pass your graduation from recognised university

    other details are
    UPSC can conducts the civil services examsfor( IAS,IPS) also conducts CMS,IES,CPF,CDS,IFS etc......
    UPSC takes these exams every year.

    IAS,IPS,IES,IFS exams can be conducts in 2 stages namely

    Preliminary exam
    Main examination.

    After completion of preliminary exam you are eligible for Main examination.

    After clearing the main examination you will be called for final interview.

    Preliminary examination should consist of 2 papers.Which is conducted on objective type only.

    Main examination should consist of 9 papers,it is a descriptive exam.

    Eligiblity:


    Education qualifications;

    You have to pass your graduation in any recognized university.
    Age qualifications:

    Your age should in between 21-30 years.
    Upper age limit will be applicable for ST/SC/OBC candidates.

    No.of Permissible attempts:

    4 for General candidates.
    7 for OBC
    No limit for SC/ST's.

    Nationality:Indian.

    You must be physically fit as per rules.

    yes my friend you can appear in UPSC exam after completion of BCA you can also appear in UPSC exam in final year of BCA also.
    coming on percentage, in UPSC there is no consideration of percentage.

    Yes being a graduate you are eligible to appear for UPSC exams.
    Required Educational qualification for upsc is graduation from recognized Institute.
    Age limit is 21 to 30 years of age.

    yes you are eligible for upsc exam.
    There is no percentage barrier in upsc exam


    eligibility criteria-:

    1.must be indian
    2.must be graduate from recognized university
    3.age limit-: 21-30 for generals

    21-33 for obc

    21-35 for sc/st.

    The minimum criteria required for the UPSC exam is below :
    The criteria for the exam is below :
    -> one should done their graduation from any recognized university


    -> A final year student can also eligible for applying the exam , but before the main exam one have to complete the graduation .


    -> age limit is 21-30 for general cast , 3 years relaxion for obc , 5 years relaxion for sc/st/ex-serviceman , 10 years relaxion for physically handicapped .


    -> maximum 4 attempts are allowed for the general cast , 7 for obc cast and no limit for the no of attempts for the sc/st cast

    so if you fulfill the above then you can give the exam .

    The exam pattern:
    1) preliminary exam
    2) main exam
    3) interview


    Preliminary exam consist two papers
    1.General Study
    2.Optional subject
    and one should pass this exam for qualifying for the next round .


    Main exam consists 9 descriptive type paper
    1-Any language defined in constitution of India
    2-english
    3-essay
    4-general study
    5-general study
    6-optional subject-1
    7-optional subject-1
    8-optional subject-2
    9-optional subject-2


    The first two papers marks are not considered but one should pass this two paper compulsory .

    so start the preparation for the exam and give it .

    if you have completed your bca course from a recognized university under ugc then you are eligible for upsc exam on the basis of graduation. you will feel relieved to know that there is no percentage criteria for upsc aspirants you have to get passing marks to apply for upsc exams.

    while filling the application for upsc exam your age should be between 21-30 years
    obc and sc/st candidates have an age relaxation for 3 and 5 years respectively.

    Hello Friend,
    BCA(Bachelor of Computer Application) is a Graduation Degree course.Graduation in any Dicipline in any recognized University is the minimum qualification required for appear the UPSC exam.so,After complete the BCA course in a recognized Uiversity you can eligible to apply for UPSC exams.
    There is no minimum percentage required for appearing the UPSC exam.

    Yes, You are eligible for UPSC Exam as you have completed your graduation. There is no limitation of percentage in graduation for applying UPSC exam. There is a requirement of a graduation in any stream from any recognized university.

    Helo Rajnish ,,

    As you have complete so you are eligible for UPSC exam and for your information there is no minimum reqyirement set for it the only eligiblity criteria is you hold graduation degree in any stream from recognized university..

    Yes definitely you can appear for UPSC Exams after completion of BCA course. You just need to be a graduate in any discipline to appear for the UPSC Exams.
    UPSC doesn't consider marks so don't worry about it, you just need to satisfy the basic eligibility criteria to apply for the cncerned Exams.

    The Basic eligibility criteria for maximum exams are:
    The candidate should have a degree in any discipline from university recognized by UGC. Final Year students can also apply.
    The candidate should be Indian
    The age limit is 21-30 years

    ***Dear friend to do UPSC IAS exams. a graduate is needed from a recognized University.

    ****BCA: Stand's for Bachelor of computer Application, in deed it is a graduate course.

    *** As per UPSC eligibility you will be able to write IAS/IPS/IRS and so on.

    ****As far as percentage of marks is concerned for appearing UPSC examinations minimum pass marks from a UGC approved University a graduate need's to write said examinations.

    BCA is a graduation degree course and after graduation every candidate can apply for civil services examination.

    For civil services examination no percentge barrier , only candidate should be graduate ,those candidate are also eligible which just have passing marks in graduation.

    Candidate must be under 21-30 years . 3 years of age relaxation for BC candidates and 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

    Yes shore you are eligible for IAS(Indian Administrative Service).

    This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year.

    Qualifications:

    You should be complete graduation or equivalent from a recognized university.

    Final year candidates should also be eligible.

    Percentage is not required to crack this exam.

    Candidate should be a citizen of India.


    Age criteria:

    For general candidates years to 30 years,

    For OBC candidates 21 years to 33 years,

    For SC/ST candidates 21 years to 35 years.


    No.of attempts:

    4 times limit for general candidates,

    7 times limit for OBC candidates,

    No limit for SC/ST candidates.



    Selection process;

    Civil services preliminary exam,

    Civil services mains exam,
