Re: Can all eligible candidates write all 5 papers in ESE exam irrespective of performance in objective papers?

All the eligible candidates has to write all the 5 papers of the respective branch and the general ability test.
The exam is taken altogether but the evaluation is done separately.
Only such candidate's Subjective papers will be checked who cross the cutoff marks of the 3 objective papers combined.
The cut off marks varies every year and sometimes varies significantly than previous year so one can not just guess the cutoff and prepare like wise. The cut offs are different for all the 4 branches and also for every category.
Results are published for both kind of students i.e. Final qualified and objective failed candidates with marks after the final publication of ESE Main result next year.
Certain candidates who feel their objective papers were not upto the mark and was very bad, they do not bother to come for the subjective test next day either.
