    Hello dear

    IES exam is basically engineering exam which is conducted by union public service commission.

    but I am sorry to say that a B.Sc candidate is not eligible for IES exams.

    For IES examination a candidate should be graduated in engineering from recognized institute or its equivalent. M.Sc degree or its equivalent with wireless

    communications,electronics,radio physics or radio engineering as a special subject .

    Dear Friend,

    Sorry , you are not eligible for Indian Engineering Services Exam.

    For IES exam you should be graduate in engineering and also can apply in last year of engineering graduation.

    Your age must be under 21-30 years.
    3 years of age relaxation for BC candidates and 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

    You must be citizen of India.

    Male/Female both are eligible.

    here your question is not clear that about which examination you want to know but i tried to give the answer ,so next time write clear and exactly what you want .


    BUT if you are asking about IES examination (INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES EXAMINATION) THAN I'M VERY SORRY TO SAY THAT THIS EXAM IS NOT FOR B.SC STUDENTS .

    this exam is only for engineering graduates not for b.sc graduates so you are not allowed to apply for the same .

    see the details about the examination below because you have no knowledge about the same .

    every year upsc releases its notification for INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES EXAMINATION.

    SEE THE QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE SAME:-

    1. THE CANDIDATE MUST BE AN INDIAN CITIZEN.

    2. THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A BACHELOR DEGREE IN ENGINEERING WITH ANY BRANCH AND WITH A GOVT RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY


    AGE CRITERIA:-

    THE AGE CRITERIA IS SAME AS ALL THE OTHER UPSC EXAMINATIONS.

    1. THE CANDIDATES MUST BE IN BETWEEN 21-30 YEARS.

    2. AN AGE RELAXATION FOR OBC AND SC/ST CATEGORY CANDIDATES ARE OF 3 AND 5 YEARS RESPECTIVELY.

    RESTRICTIONS:-

    THERE ARE TWO MAJOR RESTRICTION N THIS EXAMINATION WHICH ARE AS UNDER:-


    1. THERE ARE 4 ATTEMPTS ALLOWED TO A GENERAL CATEGORY STUDENT.

    2. BUT FOR OBC CATEGORY:- 7 ATTEMPTS ARE ALLOWED.

    3. AND FOR SC/ST CATEGORY NO ANY RESTRICTION OF ATTEMPTS.

    AND THE SECOND RESTRICTION IS OF BRANCHES.

    *IT MEANS YOU HAVE TO GIVE THE EXAMINATION ONLY IN FOUR BRANCHES AND THE BRANCHES ARE:-


    1. CIVIL ENGINEERING.

    2. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING.

    3. ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING.

    4. ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING.


    SO YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE SAME ..BUT DON'T WORRY YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS ALSO LIKE


    1. CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION.

    2. CENTRAL RESERVED POLICE FORCE........ETC.

    Acronym IES stands for Indian Engineering Services Exam. UPSC conduct the IES(Indian Engineering Services) exam every year for various posts in technical field. for IES you need to complete Engineering degree in any discipline from recognized college or university. you can also apply for IES while studying in final year of Engineering degree.


    as you have only B.Sc degree so i am sorry to say that you are not eligible to attempt IES exam.
    but you can apply for other UPSC exams like:
    Civil Services
    CPF
    CDS

    Sorry to say but B.Sc. Students are not eligible for the IES exam.

    For giving the IES exam one must have below education qualification.

    => One must have completed B.E./B.Tech from any recognized university .

    => A M.Sc student are also eligible for the exam.

    So if you want to give the IES exam then first of all you should complete your M.Sc then and then you are eligible for giving the exam.

    But till you eligible for the exam you should prepare for the exam.

    The Exam structure are below :

    Section 1:

    1) General Ability test
    2) Technical subject-1
    3) Technical Subject-2

    Section 2:

    1) Convention Technical subject-1
    2) Conventional Technical subject-2

    Section 3 :

    Interview

    So prepare for it and give it when you are eligible.

    NO A B.SC STUDENT CAN NOT APPLY FOR IES.

    IES-Indian Engineering Services.As the name only suggests it is a engineering services.

    The qualification that is required to apply for Indian Engineering Services is A ENGINEERING DEGREE FROM ANY STREAM.

    That is only applicants who have studied engineering are eligible for applying.

    You as a B.SC Graduate not eligible for Indian Engineering Services.

    Eligibility for UPSC Indian Engineering Service Examination

    Dear this is a engineering stream examination in that only those candidates can appear who have completed their bachelor's degree or graduation in any discipline of engineering from a reputed university or institute that may be called BE or B.Tech and if you have completed B.Sc in any relevant stream as IT or CS or equivalent qualification then we are sorry to say that you can not apply for this examination because you have not completed your graduation of at least 4 years in engineering so please think about another exams conducted by UPSC board

    You can apply for following UPSC exams

    Indian Civil Service : Any graduate candidate can apply whose age is not more than 30 years

    Indian Forest Service Examination : All those candidates can apply who have completed their bachelor's degree in any one of the - Agriculture/ Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Engineering/ Forestry/ Geology/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Statistics/ Zoology and age is not more than 30 years

    Combined Defense Service Examination : Any degree passed candidates are eligible to apply for IMA section but age should be between 19-24 years

    Central Police Force AC exam : Candidate should have completed graduation in any stream and age should be between 20-25 years to apply for this examination

    IES exam stands for Indian Engineering services which is conducted by UPSC.

    IES exam requires a engineering degree from a recognized university in the following;-

    Civil Engineering, mechanical

    Electrical

    Electronics and tele communication

    Age limits;-

    >>Your age should be between 21-30 years. age relaxation for Reserved category candidates.

    No you are not eligible to appear for Indian Engineering Services(IES) because you academic qualification does not match the academic qualification required for IES.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR IES:

    ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION FOR IES:

    # Candidate have to obtain Bachelor of Engineering(B.E) or Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) degree from any recognized University.

    # Candidates who are in final year of B.E/B.Tech are also eligible for IES.

    # Candidate who have obtain M.Sc degree in Electronics,Wireless Communication or Radio engineering from any recognized University can apply for IES.

    AGE LIMIT:

    # General Candidate must have age at least 21 years and must not exceed 30 years as on 1st August of the year of Examination.

    # For any OBC candidate upper age relaxation is 3 years that is they can appear for IES up to 33 years.

    # For any SC/ST candidate 5 years age relaxation is given by showing proper cast certificate.

    # 10 years age relaxation for any Physically Handicapped Persons.

    NATIONALITY:

    # Citizen of India or Subject of Nepal or Bhutan can apply for IES.

    # Tibetan Refugee who came India before 1st January 1962 permanently are eligible to appear for IES.

    MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

    # General candidate can attempt at most four times for IES under age limit.

    # OBC can attempt seven times for IES.

    # No restriction for SC/ST candidates.

    Although you are ineligible for IES but you can apply for other UPSC examination like IAS,IPS as a B.Sc student.

    NO , IES stands for Indian Engineering Service. So to appear in IES Exam Candidate must have Engineering Degree. But you you may try IAS it will be valid for all Graduate degree.

    No B.Sc student is not applicable for the IES exam because for the IES exam candidates should have completed their B.Tech in streams such as civil ,electronics or electrical s or telecommunications,mechanical .And the age limit for this is 21 to 30 years of age.For IES once only we can write the exam where as for the NDA we can can two times a year.

    Well if you like to apply for the IES examination then you need to be either a engineering graduate or you need to be MSC in radiao physics, communication technology etc.
    Because the eligibility criteria for the same you need to fulfill before you apply for the examination as follows-
    Well here is the eligibility criteria for the examination as follows-

    Indian engineering services-
    Graduate in engineering from a recognised university or equivalent can apply for the engineering services examination.
    MSC degree or its equivalent qualification in wireless communication , electronics, radio physics or radio engineering as a special subjects are also acceptable.
    Candidates appearing in the final year of the examination can also apply for the same.
    Examination pattern-
    Written test there will be 5 papers.
    Paper 1 will include objective general ability test part A will be general english.
    Part B general studies.
    Paper 2 and 3 objective will be based on the civil engineering /mechanical/electronics/electrical, electronics and telecommunication. 200 marks for each papers.
    Paper 4 and 5 conventional type means essay type.
    total marks for the written examination will be 1000.
    Personality test 200.

    Educational Qualifications required to apply for IES (indian Engineering Services ) exams is:

    >> BE/BTECH pass in any stream
    OR
    >> Passed section A and Section B of Instution examinations of Institution of Engineers
    Or
    >> Graduate Membership Examination of Institute of electronics and Telecommunication Engineers


    Age-
    Minimum 21 years
    Maximum 30 years
    OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

    Mechanical engineering

    Civil engineering

    Electrical engineering

    Electronics and communication engineering.

    No

    This examination is conducted by UPSC once a year.

    A B.Sc. student cannot appear for UPSC IES examination.

    Indian Engineering Services examination is only for Engineers as the name suggests.

    So a B.Sc. is not eligible for this examination.

    Yes a Bsc student is eligble for upsc.
    For UPSC you just need a degree and thats all.
    This can be any degree from approved university.
    you must satisfy eligibilty of age:

    Age limit to apply for IAS/IPS examination is
    21-30 years for GENERAL
    21-33 years for OBC
    21-35 years for SC/ST

    I am sorry to say but being a graduate in the B.Sc stream, you are not allowed to appear in the IES exam.
    Because for appearing in the IES exam, it is necessary for you to fulfill the following eligibility criteria which states that you should be a graduate from any of the following engineering stream
    1. Mechanical engineering
    2. Civil engineering
    3. Electrical engineering
    4. ECE
    However with a B.Sc degree you can apply for the GATE exam for pursuing the M.Sc from the IITs
