Friend I think you are male then I suggest you after the completion of +2 in science back ground with PCM subjects you need not to do CDSE you can appear NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance examination
after that you can join in any wings of Indian defence.

If you are Girl candidate you are to do cdse but you will be eligible for CDSE AFTER GRADUATION.

    For details visit http://www.upsc.gov.in

    Thank You,

friend for CDS exam, the minimum qualification required is bachelor degree,or if the candidate doing his/her degree final eyar can can also appear for the exam.

where as you had completed 12th standard,.as the CDS qualification required, you are not eligible.

if you want to join defense field being 12th passed, then you can try for NDA exam

like CDS,NDA exam held 2 times in a a year.

for NDA EXAM ,you need to satisfy its eligibility criteria .

    for example=age limit=16.5-19 years
    educational qualification=12th/intermediate passed
    gender=male only
    marital status=unmarried
mentally and physically fit and fine
eye sight=6/6 or 6/12 with or with out glasses
can able to differentiate the colors
    must be indian

so you can appear for NDA EXAM NOT CDS EXAM

for more details regarding dates, application form visit=www.upsc.gov.in

    good luck

    thank you

    Dear Aspirant

You are not eligible for appearing in CDS(Combined Defence Services). As the minimum educational qualification is graduate from a recognised university for appearing in CDS examination. However graduation will depends upon differents wings of army
For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy-Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
For Indian Naval Academy : Degree in Engineering.
For Air Force Academy : Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
So first complete your graduation depending upon which wings you want to join. However you may apply for NDA whose eligibilty conditions passed 12th with PCM with age limits 16.5 to 19 years

    All the best

Friend, please note that# You will not be eligible for CDS Examination after 10+2. Because only graduates in any discipline are eligible for CDS Examination.# But after 10+2, you are fully eligible for NDA Examination. As intermediate is the minimum required educational qualification for NDA Examination.# You can apply for CDS Examination only after graduation in any discipline.# But presently you must apply for the NDA Examination. For this you must have above the age of 16.5 years and also must below the age of 19 years.# You are required to be Unmarried male.# You must be Indian Citizen.# You must have good physical and mental health.

Indian Naval Academy : Only Engineering Graduates are eligible to apply for this section examination and age limits are 19-22 years

Indian Air Force Academy : All those aspirants who have completed bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics as mandatory subjects are eligible to apply for this test or engineering degree candidates are too and age should not be less than 19 years and more than 23 years
