    Being a science student you are eligible ,any body who has completed his bachelor's degree in any stream a university approved from UGC or if in correspondence then form DEC is eligible to appear for the UPSC exams like:



    >>Civil services examinations

    >>Indian forest services

    >>Combined defence services.

    >>Central police force examinations
    .

    Note: You will not be able to appear for the NDA and SCRA examinations as your age must have crossed the maximum age limit for these examinations.

    Age limitations:

    General: 21-30 years

    OBC; 21-33 years

    Sc/st: 21-35 year


    No of attempts:

    General: 4

    OBC:7

    SC/ST: no limit
    .

    Dear Aspirant,

    Yes definitely you can apply for UPSC examination being a science student.
    you just minimum educational qualification as Graduate or equivalent in any stream from recognised University.
    your age limit should be between 21 to 30 years of age for General (UR) Category.
    UPSC opens door for everyone to get a chance to apply in this examination and work with highest level of government department.

    Dear Aspirant;

    Union Public Service Commission is an authority to conducted the Civil Service Posts in India, for applying to the posts in UPSC one has to passed out Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

    Other that educational qualification a candidate must be a citizen of India and his age does not exceeds to 28 years.

    Yes ! even science stream students can appear in UPSC Exams.

    -You can apply to exams conducted by UPSC at the undergraduates and graduates level being in the science stream.

    -At the
    Undergraduates Level you can appear in :

    National Defence Academy & Naval Academy exams-Eligibility for NDA exams are
    candidates should be 12th pass/equivalent and age limit is 16.5-19yrs.You can join
    the army,airforce and naval wing of defence services.

    Special Class Railways Apprentice Exams-
    Eligibility is 1st/2nd division in intermediate or eqivalent and
    subject maths with atleast one of the subjects as physics or chemistry from a recognised Univ./board.
    Age limit 17-21yrs with relaxation for reserved category candidates.

    -At the Graduates Level you can appear in the following exams :

    Civil Services exam
    Indian Forest Services Exam
    Central Police Forces
    Combined Defence Services Exam

    and many others...

    Minimum qualification is graduation from a recognised Univ. and age limit is between 21-30yrs in general category.

    Definitely you are eligible for the Upsc Examination but you complete the bachelor degree or engineering degree in recognized university and there is no minimum percentage of mark to required for this examination so just pass is enough in your graduation.I will give details information about UPSC in the below manner.

    Note:- Final year students also eligible for this examination..

    Upsc stands for Union public service commission and this examination is conducted by every year and this commission have many examination there are..

    Yes you can appear for UPSC being science student.
    But you must complete your graduation with any subject to become eligible for UPSC.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
    You must be an Indian
    You must complete your graduation from any recognized university.

    Yes sir
    you are also eligible for the exam like as the other student. Science graduate student are also eligible for the exam. Every year number of the science graduate student gave the civil service exam. The upsc required only the graduate passed candidate in any stream. So donít worry you are eligible for the exam. The age limit for the exam is 21 to 30years and age relaxation for the reserve category. The exam notification is published in the month of the December and the preliminary exam is held in the month of the May.

    For the mains exam you took two optional subject like as your stream:-
    Chemistry, Physics, Math, Biology
    Other number of the optional subject you check on the official website www.upsc.gov.in

    you have not mentioned for which UPSC exam, i m giving details for civil services exam
    Age criteria:
    21-30 years (for general )as on august 1st of the year you are applying
    for OBC- upto 33 years
    for SC/ST upto 35 years

    educational Qualification:
    A bachelor's degree from any recognised university. It can be from any discipline including science.
    so dont worry, apply for this exam when notification is issued. It usually comes in january/february. look out for the notification in employment news magazine or upsc.gov.in website or employmentnews.com website

    Yes. Science students can give UPSC Exams.

    I don't know whether you are a Graduate or not.

    Graduates can appear for more number of UPSC Exams.

    You don't need to worry at all regarding your Science stream.

    Dear friend,

    the answer of your question is definitely yes!

    science graduates are also eligible for the same ,

    there is no any special boundation of subjects or stream .

    if you are a graduate from a govt. recognized university university than you are eligible ,


    see the criteria(s) required for the same given below.


    eligibility criteria:-

    * the candidate must be the citizen of India.
    * the candidate must be a graduate from a govt. recognized university.

    age criteria:-

    * for general category :- 21-30 years.
    * for obc category:- 21-33 years.
    * for sc/st category:- 21-35 years.

    no of attempts:-

    1. for general :- 4 attempts.
    2. for obc :- 7 attempts.
    3. for sc/st :- no any restriction.

    being a science student you can apply for various upsc 12th or graduation based examinations .

    on 12th basis you can apply for upsc exam such as

    Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam
    National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA/NA)


    on graduation basis you can apply for
    Indian Forest Services Examination (IFS)
    Indian Police Services Examination(IPS)
    Indian Administrative Services Examination (IAS)
    Central Police Forces Examination (CPF)
    Civil Services Examination
    Combined Defense Services Examination (CDS)
    Combined Engineering Services Examination (IES)

    Yes you are eligible to appear in UPSC exam.UPSc conducts many exams like-IES,IAS,IFS,CDS,NDA,SCRA.

    Requirements for civil services exam-

    Candidate must be passed his/her graduation course.
    Candidate must be Indian civilization.
    Age limit-
    For general- 21 to 30
    For OBC- 21 to 33
    For SC/ST- 21 to 35

    Twelfth passed students can appear in exam-
    NDA
    SCRA
