Re: Can I apply for job in Indian army having 12 stitches on my Leg?

Dear if you are Engineering degree passed candidate and wants to join Indian Army then you may join through Combined Defense Service Examination that is conducted by UPSC board and you must have following eligibility criteria for Indian Military Section

A bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university and final year pursuing candidates are also eligible to apply, age should be between 19-24 years and upper age is not relaxable

You are engineering graduate so you may also apply for both INA and AFA section examination because engineering graduates are eligible but your age should be between 19-22 years for INA and 19-23 years for AFA section

Physical and Medical Standards : Candidates must be physically fit according to the prescribed physical standards. The standards for medical fitness and the guidelines for the same are given below :

A number of qualified candidates are rejected subsequently on medical grounds. Candidates are therefore advised in their own interest to get themselves medically examined before submitting their applications to avoid disappointment at the final stage

A candidate recommended by the services selection board will undergo a medical examination by a board of service Medical Officers. Women candidates will undergo Medical Examination by a Medical Board comprising male/female doctors/ specialists/ Gynaecologist. There will be a Lady Medical Officer as member of Board. Only those candidates will be admitted to the academy who are declared fit by the medical board. However the candidates declared unfit will be intimated by the president of the Medical Board and procedure for request for an appeal Medical Board will also be intimated to the candidate

Minimum acceptable height for male candidates is 157.5 cms (157 cm for Navy and 162.5 for Air Forces)

Spinal Conditions : Past medical history of diseases or injury of the spine of sacro iliac joints, either with or without objective signs which have prevented the candidate from successfully following a physically active life.

Dear here you may see the statement of the board means if you have stitches in your leg but fit and active and having no fracture then you are completely eligible to apply and get the job in IMA but your injury or stitches should not come under the physical and medical test means your leg should be in good and working condition

Other process of medical and physical test will be tested by other official experts and you should be good at every condition then only you will be eligible to get the job and other official rules I have mentioned above and I have provided you a link that will give you complete official notification and detail about this examination so please download and get more details :
