    Hello

NO YOU CAN NOT GIVE CDS EXAM,AFTER COMPLETING DIPLOMA.

The fact is that in order to apply for the CDS exam,it is necessary to complete your graduation.Only the graduate candidates are applicable for the CDS,it is only for the graduates. To tell you the truth, the diploma is only equal to the intermediate(for which you did not appeared),yes the diploma is even called as intermediate. The diploma is equivalent to 10+2 passed.

In order to apply for the CDS,you need to be graduate in minimum, but you can apply for the NDA through which you can get in to navy
The qualifications required to apply for the NDA is

1)10+2 passed or any other equivalent exam to 10+2 with physics and maths.
2)Age limit-16.5 to 19 years(at the time of commencement of the course).

For more details visit the career website of the navy.

    Dear Friend

CDS stands for the Combined defense Services examinations. This examination is conducted twice every year by the UPSC.It gives you opportunity to join the various academies of defense which are as below:

    Indian Military academy

    Indian Naval academy

    Indian Airforce academy

    Officer's training academy.

Friend there is no problem that you have done 10+3 instead of 10+2 ,the minimum academic qualifications required for this examination is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. To be specific bachelor's degree in engineering is needed for INA and the age limit for it is 19-22 years.Final year candidates can also apply for the examinations.

Since you are in third year of engineering ,so you are not eligible for this year CDS examinations, you will be eligible in the next year that is in your final year of engineering.Till then do your preparations.you can also join institutes for better preparation like :

    1.Baalnoi academy

    2.Minerva academy

    3.Cavalier India

    4.Disha classes.

Examination pattern for CDS is :
