Yes you can attempt both UPSC & bank exams simultaneously.
There is no restrictions on appearing in other exams along with UPSC.
But the syllabus is completely different.
for Bank exams you need to prepare aptitude, verbal, reasoning etc.
For UPSC along with the above you must also know history, geography, politics, economics & general awareness.

So Think twice before coming to any conclusion.

    dear friend,

you asked a good question here many students want to know the answer of this question.

there are no any restriction of this type ,

if you can prepare for both the examination than you can apply for both the examinations.

but you should be care full about the dates of examination
that the dates of the examination will not be crossed on the same date.

but if you want my advice about the same than i advice you that you should not to take part in the
examination which are in the same month .

that means there should be a gap of three or four months in the both major examinations.

    Dear,
yes, Of course you can appear for the both UPSC and the Bank examination. But firstly, you must understand the syllabus and pattern of both the examination. Secondly, you have to prepare the both time table and work hard according to your time table. It is difficult to appear both the examination at the same time. Still, you can do it through your perseverance, sincerity and proper time management. Thanks.... and Best of Luck

    Dear,

Of course you attempt both upsc and bank exam same year, it is depend on your capability how you manage yourself and how to manage your time, because both of the

exam syllabus is totally different from each other. The bank exam complete only one day but the upsc exam process very long firstly preliminary exam in one day after that

mains exam complete in 21 years. It is long process. So manage your time according to preparation

For more information about the upsc to update with the www.upsc.gov.in

Best of luck for the exam

Re: Can I attempt both UPSC and Bank exams in the same year?

-There is no official restriction to appear in the UPSC and Banks exams in the same year.
So you are allowed to appear in all these exams if you meet the eligibility criteria.

-It depeds all upon you if you feel you can handle both the preparations simultaneously,
you can surely do well in both the exams.

-My advise is to keep your main focus on ONE of the exams and keep the other as option.
It all depends on your apptitude and interest.

Re: Can I attempt both UPSC and Bank exams in the same year?

YES you can appear in both the exams in the same year
But yes the exam dates should not be same

Both these exams are conducted by different agencies

Min eligibilty for both these exams is graduation pass
Max age to apply for Bank PO and UPSC exams is 30 years
OBC gets 3 years age relaxation and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxation

But the difficulty level of UPSC exams is very tough

So i would suggest that you try for banks exams for one full year and if you are not sucessful there than only try for UPSC exams
Dont try for both exams at the same time
