    Can I become an IRS officer after clearing CA? Will there be any preliminary exam for the same? Is there any condition that to not choose regional language?

    Can one opt for IRS after clearing CA final, if yes what subjects are there in preliminary exams.

    Also is there is any condition of not choosing regional language?

    No ...as the minumum qualification is Graduation for UPSC.

    IRS-Indian Revenue Service posts vacancies are filled through UPSC Civil Services Exams

    If you want to apply for the IRS than you have to apply for the UPSC Civil Services Exams

    UPSC Civil services exams are held once each year and this exams fills posts in 24 Govt Departments
    They include IAS, IPS, IFS,IRS etc

    Eligibilty that you need to have to apply for this exams is

    Educations-
    Bachelors Degree Pass in any stream
    No minimum marks is required in bachelors degree

    Age-
    21 years is the minimum age to apply
    30 years is the maximum age to apply for the General candidates
    33 years for the OBC candidates
    35 years for the SC/ST candidates

    Attempts-
    4 for the General candidates
    7 for the OBC candidates

    Now in the Mains exams there is no compulsory regional language that you have to choose
