    Yes you can apply to the UPSC Civil Services Exams(CSE) after P.G. Degree in M.Sc Botany .
    UPSC CSE is conducted every year to make recruitments to 24 services/posts.
    After clearing CSE with a good rank you might get posts like IAS,IPS,IFS,etc.
    CSE
    is one of the most
    toughest and competitive exam at the All India Level.
    So start youe preparations and work hard to clear the CSE.

    Eligibility For CSE :

    Age Limit :
    General category-21-30yrs on 1st August of the year of exam
    OBC-21-33yrs
    SC/ST-21-35yrs

    Educational Qualification :
    Minimum educational qualification required is Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a UGC recognised University.
    Since you have a the Degree M.Sc (Botany) you can apply to CSE.

    Attempts :
    General category-4 times
    OBC-7 times
    SC/ST-Unlimited times

    Yes sure you are 100% eligible to apply for this exam means UPSC allows all those candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and age is between 21-30 years and you have completed your Master's degree then you are eligible and you can apply for Civil services exam and forest services exams too because to apply for forest services exam you have a optional subject which is Botany and Botany graduates or post graduates are eligible to apply for Indian Forest Services exams and the age limit follows same as mentioned above for civil services exam and relaxation in age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

    Yes You are eligible for this exam there is no restriction of specific stream and percentage.
    Eligibility Criteria:-
    Education qualification-
    Graduation in any stream from Govt. recognized University(NO restriction of %)
    Final year student who appeared in last year exam can also apply for UPSC prelims exam.
    Age limit-
    GEN- 21 to 30 year
    OBC- 21 to 33 year
    SC/ST- 21 to 35 year
    Nationality-
    Indian
    Attepts-
    Gen- 4
    OBC- 7
    SC/ST- Unlimited

    Yes as per the educational criteria Graduation is the minimum qualification for UPSC exam and you done your post graduation in botany so you are eligible for civil services exam. If you fulfill the other eligibility criteria then you are fully eligible

    AGE limit

    Eligibility criteria for IAS exam is

    candidate should be graduate from recognized university in any stream. marks or percentage doesn't matter.

    Age of the candidate should be 21 to 30 year.
    candidate who are belong from OBC category can give this exam at the age 21 to 33 year
    candidate who belong from SC/ST category can apply this exam at the age 21 to 35 year

    Nationality- must be Indian

    No. of attempts

    General- 4
    OBC- 7
    SC/ST- no limit

    Dear,
    Master degree is no matter for the exam, it is beneficial for you it increases your knowledge that a particular field, master degree means you are the master of your subject.
    For the civil service exam the only requirement the candidate must have graduate in any stream from the approved university.
    The age limit for the exam 21 to 30 years.
    You have the master degree in botany then you have deep knowledge in the botany subject
    So you took the botany subject as a optional subject and other second subject related to your study.
    It is beneficial for you.

    dear aspirant,


    Yes off course you are eligible for CIVIL SERVICE EXAM.

    basically for CSE candidates should be graduate passed only but you have postgraduate its very good.


    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CSE :-

    > you should have to passed graduate from the recognized university .

    > final year appearing candidates can also apply.

    > age should be 21 to 30 years.

    > age relaxation for obc 3 years, for sc/st 5 years.

    > you should be an indian.


    so don,t worry you are eligible.

    Hello

    YOU CAN VERY MUCH APPLY FOR CIVIL SERVICES AFTER M.SC IN BOTANY.
    There are in total 5 civil services IAS,IPS,IES,IFS,IES

    You are not applicable for IES,IES i,e(INDIAN ENGINEERING AND INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICES, as the qualification here required is different of your qualifications).But you are applicable for all IAS,IPS,IFS.

    The criteria for applying in the IAS,IPS,IFS.are
    1)minimum qualification-graduation from any discipline from any recognized university.
    2)age limit-21 to 30 tears for GC and 3 year and 5 year upper age relaxation for OBC and SC/ST.
    3)number of attempts-4 for GC
    7-OBC
    unlimited-SC/ST.

    So you can see that there is no restrictions in the stream for above mentioned civil services,so you can apply for civil services.For more information visit the website of upsc
