    friend yes, you can apply for the civil service exam after completing your BMS.

    The minimum qualificaton for the Civil service exam is graduation and BMS is equivalent of graduation so don't worry you can apply for the civil service exam.

    to apply for the civil service exam your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

    You must be the citizen of India.

    Dear,
    Yes sir you are eligible for the exam when you complete the graduation in any stream, even when you are appear in the final year then you are eligible for the exam, because the upsc requirement those candidate are eligible for the exam which are appear in the final year or those waiting the final result.
    The age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years for unreserved category.
    Age relaxation for the reserve category.
    3 years for OBC category and 5 years for the SC/ST cateogary.

    BMS is also equivalent to graduation .


    but from the recognized university.

    age should be 21 to 30 years.

    age relaxation for obc 3 years, for sc/st 5 years.

    dear aspirant you can give cse of upsc after the completion bms.

    Eligibility & requirements.

    1.a graduate or a final year candidate from a recognized university any discipline can write civilservices conducted by upsc twice in a year.

    2.the age for gen.21-30 years.obc.21-33 years.s/c s/t and rest.21-35 years.

    3.candidate must be the citizen of india.

    4.attempts:to clear cse gen.get's 4 years.obc get's 7 years and rest get's no limit till their age eligiblity permit.

    Bms is equivalent to graduate so you can apply accordingly.

    Eligibility for UPSC Exams and Civil Services Exams 2013 :

    1. You should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or if you are pursuing final year of the degree or appearing for final year exams or awaiting for final year result then also you can apply for this exam.

    2. Your age should not be more than 30 years and lesser than 21 years and relaxation in age as per government guidelines only for reserved category candidates - 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC Category candidates.

    3. If you belong to General Category then you are allowed to attempt only for 4 times of the UPSC Civil services exams and 7 times for OBC and there is no limit for SC/STs but they also are allowed to appear for this exam till 35 years of age.

    You are definitely eligible and you can apply for UPSC Exams as - IAS, IPS, IFoS, CDS etc.

    BMS stands for the Bachelor of Medicine and surgery .

    The minimum qualification for most of UPSC exam is bachelor's degree in any discipline form a recognised university.However you have not mentioned the UPSC exam which you want to give after completing BMS.

    So you can give UPSC exams on the basis of BMS.

    >>During your final year of BMS ,you can also apply for the UPSC exam.

    The list of UPSC examinations for which you will be eligible :

    1.Civil services examinations.:

    The age limit is 21-30 years for general ,however relaxation provided to obc and sc/st respectively.

    2.Combined defence services examinations:

    The age limit for different academies are :

    >>INA;19-22 years

    >>IMA:19-24 years

    >>OTA: 19-25 years

    3.Central police force examinations:

    >>The age limit for the examination is 20 to 25 years .Relaxations provided to obc and sc/st respectively.

    For all these examinations ,you must be an Indian citizen.

    you need to be a passed graduate from any recognized university any discipline..

    Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized university. You hold BMS is also eligible to apply.

    Candidates who appearing in final year of graduation can also apply for the upsc exams.

    Hello Dear,

    yes perfectly you are eligible for this exam. graduation is required for IAS exam and you completed your graduation so dear you can apply for this exam.

    Eligibility criteria

    only those candidate are eligible this exam whose age in between 21 to 30 year and he/she complete or appearing the last year of their graduation
    graduation in any stream and no percentage limit
    3year age relaxation provided to OBC candidate an d 5 year relaxation provided to SC/ST candidate
    number of attempts-
    general candidate- 4
    OBC- 7
    SC/ST- no limit
