Re: Can I be qualified for UPSC exam having only 59.33% in 12th exam?

    Hello

The UPSC conducts various exams related to the civil services and other important services to the country like engineering services, medical services, defense services.
Most of the exams that is conducted by the UPSC are graduation level, means for the graduates students. But there are few for the 10+2 passed candidates students. But in any case the percentage of the degree or else the intermediate is not required.

The exams that are conducted by the UPSC only requires the degree or the certificates with just pass marks, there is no story of the minimum percentage.
You can apply for the UPSC exams after the 10+2,and after graduation but in both ways ,you do not need to show your percentage, only the pass marks is sufficient.

Even in summary ,one can say that you just need to be passed for the UPSC exams,no percentage issues at all.

NOTE:Among the exams conducted by the UPSC for the 10+2,SCRA(Special Class Railway Apprentice)-you need to pass 10+2 or any equivalent of 10+2 with mathematics and any one subject of the physics and chemistry with second division.Yes for applying in the SCRA,you need a percentage, but it is the only exception.

    Hi,

UPSC conducts various exams like -

    IAS/ IPS/ IFS

    NDA

    CDS

    IES

    SCRA

The exams of IAS/ IPS/ IFS / IES/ CDS require minimum graduation degree as educatonal qualification to sit for these exams.

So, you still have to do graduaton for these exams. Also there is no minimum percentage criteria fo rthese exams. You just need to be a graduate.

Now, the exams like NDA, SCRA, require minimum qualification of class 12th .

In NDA , for Air Force and Navy, you should have mathematics as one of the main subject.

similarly for SCRA, maths is required.

Percentage in 12th does not matter in NDA, but it matters in SCRA, which requires 55% aggregate marks.

Therefore, you are eligible for both NDA and SCRA exam.

Dear, If you want to go with the civil service exam then firstly you complete the graduation in any stream from the approved university. The percentage of the marks is no matter for the exam and higher qualification is also no matter for the exam.
