    hello, if you have completed your graduation from the recognized university then you can apply UPSC(UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION) EXAM. AGE CRITERIA:- general candidates = 21 to 30 years. obc candidates 3 years relaxation so age 21 to 33 years. sc/st candidates 5 years relaxation so age 21 to 35 years. for more details you can visit its official website. www.upsc.gov.in all the best

    Yes sir,
    You are eligible for the exam. There is no problem for the upsc the candidates have complete the degree from the distance education or private education. Only one condition is the candidate must have completed the graduation from the approved university. So donít worry you are eligible for the exam

    eligibility criteria:-

    Age limit:-
    The age limit is for general category is 21 to 30 years. And attempt the exam 4 times.

    The age limit is for obc category is 21 to 33 years (3 years relaxation). Attempt the exam 7 times.

    Age limit for SC/ST category is 21 to 35 years and attempt chance till overage. Means unlimited

    Qualification:-

    The qualification required for the upsc civil service exam is the graduation in any stream from the recognized university which is approved by the ugc/aicet. The

    percentage of the marks is no matter for the exam.

    hey there..

    Yes you can appear for the exam even though it is through distance learning.

    Grades are also not a problem as UPSC allows candidates with low grades also to apply.


    The qualification required to apply for the exam is that one MUST be a graduate(3 yrs/4yrs) from a recognized university under the UGC act.


    Age limit:
    A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination.


    The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable in the follwing cases:
    SC/ST : upto a maximum of five years.
    BC : upto a maximum of three years.
    State of Jammu & Kashmir: upto a maximum of five years.
    Defence Services personnel : upto a maximum of five years


    Number of attempts:
    General : four attempts.
    SC/ST: No restriction.
    BC: seven

    YOU should have to passed graduation from the recognized university.
    AGE CRITERIA:-

    general categories = 21 to 30 years

    You should be mentally and physically fit.
    General category attempts the exam 4 times.

    Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University is the minimum qualification required to appear the UPSC exams conducted every year.
    Those in the final year of a degree course is also apply for UPSC exam.
    The aspirant who complete their graduation degree from a recognized University through Distance Education is also eligible to write the UPSC exam.
    so,after completing a Distance degree you can write the UPSC exams.

    Hi Aspirant

    Yes you can write the upsc exam after doing your graduation

    degree with distance because for the upsc exam you just need a

    graduation degree from a recognized Indian university and it does not matter

    from which stream or in which mode you have passed in the graduation.

    Qualification Required for the upsc cse exam:

    -The Candidate must be pass in the graduation degree.

    -The distance graduation degree holders can apply for the exam.

    -The candidate just need passing marks for the exam.

    -The candidate age should be 21-30 years.

    -Also age relaxation for the candidate 3 years obc and 5 years sc,st

    Attempts :

    -The number of attempts given to obc 7
    -The number of attempts given to sc,st unlimited

    Yes you can write UPSC exams after completing your graduation in distance education.
    You just need a Bachelors Degree(Distance learning/correspondence is also acceptable)
    from a recognised University/instutuion to be eligible for UPSC exams.
    UPSC Civil Services Exams is one of the most competitive and tough exams in India.
    UPSC Civil Services Exams are conducted once in a year for posts like IAS,IPS,IFS,etc.
    It is conducted in
    3 stages viz.
    1.Prelims/CSAT Exam

    2.Mains Exam

    3.Interviews


    Eligibility For CSE :


    Age Limit :

    General Category-
    21-30yrs on 1st August of the year of exam
    OBC-21-33yrs

    Dear friends UPSC define's in it's exam eligibility that having a graduate degree or a final year candidate from a recognized University/Institution can write UPSC civil sevices.Here UPSC did not give any stress on open or distance education only stressed graduate degree either open or distence or correspondence these are not the factor only factor is the graduation must be taken from a recognized ie UGC approved University or Institution can get's the eligibility for UPSC exams.So we can write UPSC exams having the degree from distance education.

    upsc conducts many civil services exam.

    you can join these exam after graduation.

    general age limit is 21-30 years.
    there is age relaxation for reserved category students.

    3 years for obc, number of attemps is 7
    5 years for sc/st, number of attempts is no limit.

    I want to tell you that you can apply for the UPSC exam if you have done your graduation from the distance mode.

    The one of the mnost important condition for the UPSC exams is that you must be graduate from a UGC recognized univrsity of India & your age must lies in between 21-30 years .

    If your degree is from UGC recognized university then you can apply for the UPSC exams.

    First of all Let me check ... Have received Degree Certificate from a recognized university


    So if it is YES

    then you can absolutely apply for it

    And you must have a minimum of 21 years

    And maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

    Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates ..

    you must be an Indian citizen

    Yes dear if you have completed bachelor's degree through distance mode then there is no problem in that because all those candidates are eligible who have completed a bachelor's degree from a recognized university means your institute or university must be recognized and after completing graduation you may apply for following examination under UPSC board

    Civil Service Examination - Degree in any discipline and age should be between 21-30 years

    UPSC CPF AC Examination : Must be graduate and age should be between 20-25 years

    UPSC CDS - IMA - Any degree from a recognized university and age should be between 19-24 years

    Final year pursuing candidates are also eligible to apply for various examination of UPSC

    I have attached some notification and current CDS II application dates are open so you should visit at www.upsc.gov.in for online application and apply for this examination
