Re: DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) post come under which commission APPSC or UPSC? When the notification will be published?

Dear before everything you should know that APPSC stands for Andhrapradesh Public Service Commission that is limited only to a particular area that is your state means APPSC board can only work under Andhrapradesh and then no power on other states or central level when UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission that is a national constitutional body of India and have coverage over all states and each part of the India and officers selected through UPSC exams are posted to work anywhere in any state when officers and employees selected though APPSC are posted only under AP state so APPSC has no more power but UPSC has the power more than all other states PSC boards

DSP is a higher grade rank under Police Service that is under central government of India because UPSC conduct Indian Civil Service Examination every year so there is a particular post of IPS - Indian Police Service preferred by many aspirants who appears for this examination and candidates who qualify examination and pass all the stages required to become IPS Officers are posted for junior grade at first of their posting after completing the training so that junior grade post is called - DSP - Deputy Superintendent of Police means IPS Officers that is the national level service in India posted first for the rank of DSP and also called Assistant Commissioner of Police at this rank so remember that DSP is the level of IPS Officer selected through UPSC examination not through APPSC and if you want to become DSP then you should appear for Indian Civil Service Examination and prefer for IPS rank and pass entire selection process so you will become DSP at once and furthers posts are following after being selected through this exam

Junior Time - Assistant Commissioner of Police/ Deputy Superintendent of Police
Senior Time - Additional Deputy or Deputy Commissioner of Police
Junior Administrative Scale - Superintendent of Police or SSP in some states
Selection Grade - Deputy Commissioner of Police in Selection Grade
Super Time Scale - Additional Commissioner of Police
Super Time Scale - Senior Administrative Grade - Joint Commissioner of Police
Above Super Time Scale - Special Commissioner of Police
Above Super Time Scale - Apex Scale - Commissioner of Police States

UPSC board conduct this examination once a year in two sections - Preliminary and Mains and preliminary examination is around April - May of the year and Main examination is around December of the year and passing in both stages is necessary then quality personality test, Physical and Medical standards test and become IPS Officer in India

You can collect more details about this examination in this attached notification - Eligibility, Examination Pattern, Selection Process, Complete Syllabus, Posting etc. so please download and read carefully

    All the best

DSP comes under state jurisdiction. You can get post of DSP through your state Police service,in this case,APPSC.
You can get to post of SP through long wait for promotion or you can get to the post of SP and higher posts after just few years if you get selected in IPS conducted by UPSC for Civil services.
The qualifications and eligiblity are same for both UPSC and APPSC for Police services but the competition for UPSC will be more..So you should try for UPSC so that even if you fail to qualify in UPSC Civil services for IPS,you can have a decent chance at APPSC Civil services for Police service.
The notification for UPSC Civil service will arrive next year during February around. You can visit the website of UPSC at www.upsc.gov.in
For APPSC such dates are not known as State PSCs are usually lethargic about future date publications.Keep checking the website of APPSC for its notification dates.

Expensive before every thing you should consider this APPSC stands for Andhrapradesh General public Program Commission payment this is proscribed simply to particular place which is a state usually means APPSC table can only function within Andhrapradesh and after that absolutely no power on other expresses as well as middle amount if UPSC stands for Un General public Program Commission payment which is a national constitutional physique involving India and have insurance coverage over-all expresses and each and every portion of the India plus officials decided on through UPSC qualifications are submitted to work anyplace in almost any point out if officials plus staff members decided on however APPSC are submitted simply within AP point out so APPSC has got eliminate electrical power however UPSC provides the electrical power more than all other expresses PSC planks

DSP is usually a increased quality ranking within Law enforcement Program which is within middle government involving India for the reason that UPSC conduct Native indian Municipal Program Evaluation annually so there is a specific publish involving IPS - Native indian Law enforcement Program preferred by many aspirants exactly who would seem just for this test plus prospects exactly who meet the criteria test plus complete the many development required for being IPS Reps are submitted regarding freshman quality at first of their total placing right after doing it to ensure that freshman quality publish is termed - DSP - Deputy Superintendent involving Law enforcement usually means IPS Reps this is the national amount service in India submitted initially for the ranking involving DSP plus referred to as Admin Commissioner involving Law enforcement around this ranking so understand that DSP is definitely the degree of IPS Specialist decided on through UPSC test not really through APPSC plus if you would like develop into DSP then you certainly must show up regarding Native indian Municipal Program Evaluation plus like regarding IPS ranking plus complete total process therefore you will become DSP immediately plus furthers threads are adhering to right after becoming decided on through this exam.
