candidates who have completed Bachelor of Engineering degree or who is currently in the final year of B.E degree are eligible to apply for engineering services examination. You may have done Engineering in any of the streams (like ECE, CSE,IT, AUtomobile, civil, production etc), in which stream you did Engineering does not matter. All that matters is you have a B.E degree. But the exam is conducted in 4 streams only
    1) Electronics
    2) Electrical
    3) Mechanical
    4) Civil
Since you are an Engineeering student you are eligible to apply for the exam and you can choose Electronics stream for writing the exam.
    Scheme of exam

    type subject max marks
    paper 1 objective General ability
    (General English and General studies)
    200
paper 2&3 objective civil/mechanical/electrical/electronics 200 for each paper
    paper 4&5 conventional/essay civil/mechanical/electrical/electronics 200 marks for each paper
