    Indian Administrative Services i.e. IAS and Indian Police Services i.e. IPS exams are conducted by UPSC.

    You can apply online for these examinations at www.upsconline.nic.in

    The eligibility criteria for appearing in UPSC exam is Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

    The Age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. If you are appearing in 2012 UPSC exam then your age should between 2 August 1982 to 1 August 1991.

    There is five years relaxation for the SC/ST candidates.

    There are two types of written examination in UPSC.

    UPSC Prelim exam and UPSC Mains exam. You will appear in UPSC Prelim exam first in which Objective type Questions are asked from General English, General Studies etc.

    For UPSC Mains you have to choose Subjects. There are total 51 Optional Subjects in which 23 are from main subjects and 28 Language Subjects like Hindi, English, Bengali etc.
    There is no any percentage criteria for UPSC so you can go for UPSC exam if any percent in Graduation Degree.

    Yes SIr u r eligilble for the upsc exam.

    upsc exam required only degree pass out student.

    there is no condition for the degree marks.

    -Having completed your Graduation,You are definitely eligible to appear for the CIVIL SERVICE EXAMS conducted by the UPSC,every year.But you need to make sure you fulfill the complete eligibility requirements of these exams.

    -You must be a citizen of India,

    yes you can apply. you are eligible.

    just a bachelor degree of any stream alone is needed to give civil service exam. there is no percentage criteria.

    Educational qualification:-


    If you want to appear in IAS exam minimum eligibility is a degree from
    recognized university or You must be a graduate.
    Final year student, who are doing the graduation can also apply for the exam.


    Age limit:


    you must have attained the age of 21 years not be over 30 years of age as on 1st August.
    But for OBC/SC/ST candidates relaxation of age limit is there.
    For OBC-3 years relaxation, so age limit is 21-33 years.
    For SC/ST-5 years relaxation, so age limit is 21-35 years.


    Citizenship:-
    You must be Indian.


    Number attempts:-


    General category candidates can appear 4 times only,
    OBC can appear 7 times
    SC & ST candidate have no limit for appearing in the exam.

    surely you caan apply for the upsc's civil services examination as it is open to all aspirants irrespective of graduation percentage & stream beside you have comply with other criteria also but you need mch hard work to succeded in this examination.

    i giving you criteria & some tips to prepare do check them and start peparation for next years exam as this year application has been already closed

    you can appear for the examinations

    1.civil services examination (for IAS,IPS)

    whose eligibility criteria are :
    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
    You must be a citizen ofIndia,

    or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
    or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.


    You must be of 21 to 30 years of age. HOWEVER,there is a relaxation in the upper age limit,
    of 3 years for the OBCs
    and
    5 years for the SC/STs.


    You must have completed your Graduation orEquivalent,from a recognized university under any
    stream,or be a final year student in the same

    tips
    1.choose two optionals carefully & start improving writing in them, do practice to write answers in essay manners in particularily these two subjects atleast.

    3.start reading two good level competitive magazines like compeptition success review,prtiyogita darpan,frontline for the current affairs.
    4.purchase a good ATLAS,learn it heartly.
    5.order correspondance study material (though it is optional upto you)

    My Dear no need to worry because you can apply for upsc exam

    Here is qualification required for upsc exam:

    Education: The candidate must be pass in graduation from a recognized university

    Age limit : for general 21-30 and for sc/st 21-35 and for obc 21-33

    And dear as you said you have completed you graduation

    Dear they are just asking graduation pass degree

    So you can apply for upsc exams and for IAS

    Hi Meenakshi
    Eligibility Criteria for the IAS Exam does not consider your percentage of marks in the qualifying exam to decide your eligibility.

    That means you are eligible for the exam irrespective of your marks in the graduation degree.

    The eligibility criteria for the Civil Services Exam (IAS) is that you should have your graduation degree from a recognized college and you belong to the following age limit: 21-30 years ( the upper age limit is relaxed for reserved category students).

    dear friend,

    Eligibility criteria for UPSC IAS:

    for UPSC exams you must complete or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university.

    your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.

    And there is relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates(3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).



    In UPSC your graduation matters and your percentage does not matter. so don't have to worry.

    Hey friend,

    Yeah you can apply for the IAS exam as you are satisfying the needed eligibility criteira for it as regarding the education qualification.

    As you have said that you have completed your degree you are eligible for the exam as regarding the education qualification needed for the exam.

    There are other criteria's which you need to satisfy and they are:

    > you need to be a citizen of India.

    > You need to have a age limit of 21-30 years for General category candidates.

    > There are upper age relaxation for other candidates.

    > You need to have completed a degree from a recognized university with a fair percentage.


    If you are satifying them all then you are eligible for the IAS Exam

    for appearing in IAS you need to be a graduated person from a recognized university no matter how much you scored in graduation all you need is a completion of graduation

    Yes you can apply , you are eligible if you are from 21 to 30 years of age. Also another thing upsc needs is your education qualification. Your qualification must be degree not diploma

    The Eligibility Criteria for The UPSC Civil Services Exam through which you can become an IAS Officer are :


    * You must have completed your graduation in any stream from any university which is recognized by the UGC.

    * Age Limit : 21-30 years.

    * Relaxation in age is also as per govt. rules.

    * Number Of Attempts -


    a) General Category : 4

    b) SC/ST Catgeory : No Limit

    Now from the above mentioned , you can see that there is no percentage bar so , it does not matter that with how much % of marks you have passed graduation.

    Yes you can apply for civil services with minimum of 40% in Graduation from Indian Recognized university.

    There is no limit of marks percetage academically,only required is Must pass graduation before applying for civil services.

    Age limits to apply for Civil services are
    General 21 to 30 years and 04 attempts only.
    OBC 21 to 33 years and 07 attempts only.
    SC/ST 21 to 35 years and unlimited attempts.

    Release of notification for Preliminary exam is on 19 th February,2013 for next year.

    - So you are eligible for IAS exam.

    - Any stream graduate done from ugc approved university is eligible for IAS exam.

    - All streams candidates are eligible.

    - No minimum percentage limit is required.

    - But age limit is there as: 21-30 years.

    The eligibility criteria for IAS conducted by UPSc is given below...

    1)Candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university .
    2)candidates who appearing in final year of graduation or engineering can also apply for the upsc exams.
    3)age limit for the upsc exams is 21 to 30 years.
    4)age relaxation of 3 years is given to those candidates who belongs to OBC category .
    5)age relaxation of 5 years is given to those candidates who belongs to sc category.

    You can apply for the IAS exam with your percentages from the above eligibility criteria..

    The eligibility criteria of selection of IAS or IPS officer is complite greduation in any branch or subject.
    Age limit is
    For gen. - 21 to 30
    For obc - 21 to 33
    For sc/st - 21 to 35

    In the greduation % are not metter in qulification.
    So you can also apply for IAS or IPS exam.

    The age no. of attemp chance is
    For gen. - 4
    For obc - 7
    For sc/st - no limit

    Eligibility Criteria for UPSC - Civil Services or IAS Exam 2013 :

    Candidate must posses a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university

    Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in age as per government guidelines

    5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen candidates

    Note : There is no bar or rule for percentage marks in the required educational qualification for IAS exam means as you have secured only 40% marks in your degree so there is no problem for your marks means you may apply for this exam easily and as you have studied from Arts subject so that it is good for you to choose some optional subjects for mains exam.

    To reach to the mains exam you have to qualify the preliminary exam which has 2 papers for 400 marks and thsi would be as objective type multiple answers pattern and for your mains exam you may choose any two subjects of the following but only after qualifying the preliminary exam.

    * Yes, you are eligible to appear for the UPSC exam ...!

    * Your percentage does not matter,...!

    * I will provide you the necessary eligibility criteria which has to be fulfilled....!!!

    * You have to be a citizen of India..

    * You must be in the age of 21 to 30 years...!

    * Age of 30 is relaxable upto 3 years for BC and upto 5 years for SC/ST....!

    * The educational requisite is that you have to be graduate...!

    IAS: Indian Administrative Services...

    UPSC will hold the IAS exam every year...

    The minimum eligibility for IAS is graduation from any recognized university.

    and your age should in between 21-30 years.The upper age limit will be applicable for ST/SC/OBC candidates......

    3 years for OBC

    5 years for ST/SC .....

    So after graduation you can go for IAS examination........

    Yes you can apply for the UPSC and IAS exam also.

    There is no eligibility criteria for marks but to apply for UPSC exams:-

    You should have completed graduation from a good university
    Your age-limit for particular category

    General= 21-30 years
    OBC=21-33 years
    SC/ST= 21-35 years.


    You should have these criteria fulfilled to apply for UPSC exams.

    The criteria for appearing in Civil Services Exam is :
    1. Nationality : Indian
    2. Academic qualification : Graduate in any stream from any recognized university.
    3. Age limits : 21-30 (OPEN), 21-33 (OBC), 21-35(sc/st).
    4. Attempts : OPEN-4 , OBC-7 ,SC/ST-9 .

    No such percentage criteria is given for applying for Civil Services Exam. So you are eligible as you are a graduate.

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services .Comes into civil services. Examination for civil services is conducts by Union Public Service Commission once in every year.

    For civil services examination candidate must be passed his/her graduation from any recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.

    For civil services examination no percentage is required , If candidate just have passing marks in graduation are also eligible.
    So, worry about your percentage , you are eligible for civil services examination.

    Candidate must be into 21-30 years.
    3 years age relaxation for BC candidate , 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidate and 10 years age relaxation for physically handicapped.

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services . It is an officer level post comes into civil services . For that you give civil services examination.

    40% marks in graduation is sufficient for civil exam. For that exam only it is compulsory that candidate should be graduate , If candidate just have passing marks in graduation are also eligible.

    You can apply UPSC and IAS exam if you have complete your graduation degree from a Indian Recognized university with 40%.

    Your Age should be between 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates.

    UPSC exam does not consist any percentage Barrier.

    You are Eligible for IAS exam after doing graduation from any stream(arts, commerce and science)

    IAS exam consist Preliminary exam in which there are two general studies papers.

    After clearing This exam,you have to clear Mains exam.
