    Exam pattern of UPSC IFS Preliminary exam? Is it objective type or conventional?

    i am padmapriya first time i am attened the ifs exam i have a doubt on preliminary exam question paper i am totally confused because the last year question papers are having the detail questions but somebody told it have choose the best answers only pls clear my doubt

    hi,

    first of all this is right choice of your career.

    >> i like to tell you that this is a objective type exam .

    >> after prelims the main exam is for conventional type.

    >> pattern:

    >> you have to apply for prelims and for that you have 2 paper.

    >> after is you got passed then you can apply for mains that will contain for 7 subject.

    >> if you clear this then you have to face final interview that is for 400 marks.

    >> and then you become IFS.

    >>this is very easy just you need to be in and smart preparation is most important.

    IFS stands for the Indian Forest Service exam. This exam is conducted once in a year at national level. Exam patter for the IFS exam ================== written examination Paper I General English 300 marks Paper II General Knowledge 300 marks Paper III Any two subjects 200 marks be selected for Paper IV from the list of each paper the optional Paper V Subjects set out in Para 2 below. Paper VI Each subject will have two papers. Interview for Personality Test (minimum marks: 300 marks) After qualifying the written exam you will be called for the interview.
