    Hi Aspirant

    Yes you can become a IAS Officer after completing

    Your graduation as the graduates are fully eligible for the exam

    And you have passed your graduation from a recognized university

    So you can write the exam for the IAS Post as it does not matter

    Which graduation degree you have passed means in the b.com or

    In the b.sc or in bba or b.ca the main thing is that you have been pass

    In the graduation from a recognized Indian university

    You have to write the civil services exam for the post

    And civil services exam is conducted by the union public service commission every year

    Attempts :

    -4 for general allowed

    -7 for the obc allowed

    -Unlimited number of attempts allowed for the sc,st


    Nationality :

    -Indian

    Education :

    -The Candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university

    -Also final year student can appear in the exam


    Age Limits :

    -The Age limit for the exam is 21 to 30

    -Their is relaxation for the obc and sc,st of 3 and 5 years

    -And relaxation for the ph of 10 years

    For IAS the eligibility is given below:-


    Age Limit:

    For General candidate : 21-30 years
    For OBC Candidate : 21-33 years
    For SC/ST candidate : 21-35 years


    Educational Qualification: Candidate must be Graduate from any recognized university.

    Numbers of Attempts:

    For General Candidate 4 Attempts
    For OBC Candidate 7 Attempts
    For SC/ST Candidate No Limits

    Examination Schedule:


    It consists of two stage :
    1. Preliminary Examination
    2.Main Examination

    Preliminary Examination: It will consists of Two papers of objective type and carry a maximum 400 marks.

    Main Examination: Main exam consists of Written test and interview.

    The main examination comprises of Nine papers.

    Paper-I : One of the Indian Language to be selected by the candidate from 22 languages. : Marks 300

    Paper-2 : English : Marks 300

    Paper-3 : Essay : Marks 200

    Paper-4 & 5 : General Study (300 Marks Each) : Marks 600

    Paper- 5,6,7,8,9 : Any Two subject to be selected : Marks 1200
    (Each having Two Papers & 300 marks for each paper)

    Interview (in the medium you choose) total marks 300

    if you will passed your graduation with the 60% from the recognized university then you can appeared IAS exam.

    and as you said that your passed BCA with the 64% then you are eligible for appeared IAS EXAM.


    the IAS exam conducted by UPSC(UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION).

    AGE for general candidates should be 21 to 30 yeras.

    age relaxation for ob c candidates 3 years.
    age for sc/st candidates 5 years relaxation.


    you must be an INDIAN.


    attempts:-

    For General Candidate 4 Attempts
    For OBC Candidate 7 Attempts
    For SC/ST Candidate No Limits
