Re: How to become an IAS officer after completing 12th with Commerce?

you are in class 11th and you are from commerce stream.

you need to wait till you become graduate in the subjects.

Indian Administrative Services is highly respected and prestigious service /post in the country.

Indian Administrative services minimum qualification is bachelor degree from recognized university.

there is no requirement of minimum percentage only passing marks are sufficient.

if you are really interested in IAS you should read your book of 11th and 12th and of graduation thoroughly

to have the real knowledge about the your stream subjects.

After graduating in the subjects you can apply for IAS.

There are 3 stages in IAS that should be cleared by the candidate.

    • Preliminary exam (OBJECTIVE TYPE)
    • Main exam (DESCRIPTIVE TYPE)
    • Personal interview
After clearing the all the stages you will become IAS officer.

    Dear candidate,
As you have just about completed your +2,you have a good lot of time left to prepare for the UPSC Exams.
You will be eligible only when you reach the final year of your graduation or complete it,from an UGC Recognized University.
So as of now,you choose your best subject for complying it with graduation and study to its depth.Make sure it lies within the list of optional subject in the UPSC exams.
This subject you opt at graduation and an ARTS Subject, such as INDIAN HISTORY or PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION,will make a perfect combination for you at the MAINS EXAM.
Arts subjects are very scoring and are even the core at preliminary exams. So keep pace with them and all sorts of G.K and current affairs.
This will do good for you.
    Wish you Luck.

Re: How to become an IAS officer after completing 12th with Commerce?

first of all let me tell you that you can not apply for upsc civil services examination on 12th basis.
upsc civil services exam is graduation based exam conducted by upsc every year.

but you can start the preparation of the exam right away as it is difficult exam to clear.after completing your graduation with commerce you can apply for the exam.the require age limit for the different categories for this exam are

age limit is 21-30 years for general category
age limit is21-33 years for the obc category
age limit is 21-35 years for the sc/st aspirants.

    this exam has two phases
    preliminary examination
    mains examination

    followed by an interview.

IAS is an important post of our country so its not easy to become an IAS officer. you need to be fully dedicated towards your goal of becoming an IAS officer.guideline for you in my opinion are

start preparing for the exam right away.a better preparation in advance will surely pay off.

prepare yourself for the exam according to the syllabus prescribed by upsc .

check out the previous years examination papers for getting the basic style of the exam.

    manage your time properly.

general knowledge, english and aptitude are basic ingredients of the exam ,make good command over these subjects .

be determined, focused, fully devoted to your goal of becoming an IAS officer.

    GOD BLESS

    • The age of yours must have to be between 21 years to 30 years.
