    hi
    the time taken for becoming an IAS officer, after getting selected is two years. The 2 year training is provided to all the selected candidates in masurrie, shri lal bahadur shastri training academy. In those two years a complete training is provided to all the people of various departments how to hold on with their posts and jobs. Also, a complete country tour is also been taken in order to make them aware of the actual scenario in the country.

    After passing IAS exam it will take more 2 years for training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration.

    After completing that training you will be designated to your district based on your AIR (all india rank).

    So be ready for 2 more years of training after qualifying exam.

    Good luck.

    Hi

    IAS exam has Three stage procedure:-

    If you have cleared the IAS preliminary exam and Mains exam then you will be called for interview in between one month.

    You will get the call letter for interview at your address.

    After clearing the Interview you will be given post in between 3 months.

    This whole procedure of approximately 5 or 6 months.

    The exam for ias is divided into three stages;

    1.Prelims
