Re: How many marks should I obtain in written exam to get a call for Physical and Medical rounds?

    Hello,
Friend there is no fixed marks for getting selected for further rounds. UPSC follows merit system. In merit system the list of selected candidates starts from candidate getting highest marks in the written examination and finishes when vacancies are filled.
So, all you can do is prepare and give it your best shot.

    Regards...

Dear there is no criteria is announced or fixed by the UPSC board for IPS - Indian Police Services or any other exams to be called for interview process or physical standards test or medical standards test so that we can not say about this - that how exactly is the passing marks criteria for UPSC IPS exam but approximately it is following :

OBC Category Candidates - At lest 55-60% marks

Scheduled Caste Category Candidates - At least 50-55% marks

This is the approximate criteria for the mains exam to reach to the physical and medical test but it may change according to the UPSC board rules but you should have at least above mentioned marks in the mains then you may be called for further steps.
