a certificate of NCC is beneficial in many ways when a circumstance come when they have to choose one amoung many that will play a major role. and for join army your performence in the exam and interview is most important that scoring mark.

There are usually three stages for the selection in any particular wing of the defence,that is in army,air force,navy.
The stages are
1)Entrance exam 2)SSB(Service Selection Board) Interview 3)Medical Fitness.
CDSE-Combined Defence Service Examination-is a entrance exam which the candidates need to qualify to get in to the next stage that is the interview stage.
Now if you have the NCC certificate,then you will be directly called for the SSB interview,means it will be a two stage process for the NCC certificate holders.
You at least need to have minimum 50% marks in graduation from any stream to apply through the NCC certificate.

1> if you have with NCC c grade certificate than you are directly call for interview without any written test..
2> NCC certificate related to army training when selector want to choose five out of ten than your selection is 1oo% done because you have a experience man..
3> please score 75% marks in graduation for selection.
