    dear Sir,

    Below points to remember you can start preparation for civil service exam:-

    1. daily read newspapers and magazines and note down current affairs and GK.
    2. daily give 4-5 hours for your study.
    3. give more efforts and gurds to take your study.
    4. be punctual of time.
    5. practice daily which you read every day.

    dear aspirant,

    you can apply for Civil Services exam after completing BDS or you can also apply for Civil Services exam while appearing in BDS exam.

    Tips For Preparation:
    1. Go throughout Syllabus and Question papers.
    2. Study NCERT Books and other best books.
    3. Note down the current affairs .
    4. Solve previous year papers for Civil Services.
    5. Improve your General Knowledge and Aptitude
    6. Read newspapers and magazines.
    7. Concentrate on basic concepts.

    Hello,
    Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates for the post of IAS, IRS, IPS.
    You can start from knowing all the required details (syllabus) about Civil Services Exam.

    Exam Format of Civil Services Examination
    The Civil Services Exam is a paper based test and consists of two successive stages:
    1. Preliminary Examination comprising 2 exams General Studies and CSAT
    2. Civil Services Main Examination (Written and Interview)

    You have to concentrate on following areas:

    Current events of national and international importance, History
    Indian and World Geography, Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
    General issues on Environmental ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change.
    Comprehension
    Interpersonal skills including communication skills
    Logical reasoning and analytical ability, Decision making and problem solving
    General mental ability
    English Language Comprehension skills (Class X level).

    If you want to appear for civil service exams after completing your bachelor's degree as BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery so that you have taken a very good decision to make your career but dear the civil service exams wants more and more study and more time of your preparation which you will have to give and you should prepare for these exams by following these points :

    1. Join any coaching institute for your preparation because only coaching institute may help you to reach to your goal and you would be continue in your study for your exam

    2. You will get the best study and competitive environment for study so that coaching institutes are must and you would be regular in your study so that the preparation would be huge

    3. Most of the coaching institutes gives only 6-8 hours everyday for exam preparation so that you also have to be responsible for your study and give at least 6-8 hours for your study after or before the coaching institute

    4. You should follow the guidelines of your coaching institute and if possible then take some suggestion from any successful IAS Aspirant

    5. Manage the time and care only about your study and keep your target always in your mind and prepare well

    6. Try to get more and more important knowledge which is under your syllabus and study hard

    7. When you feel something boar from your study so that you should study anther books as Motivational books, stories, watch news channels to make your mood fresh and active

    8. Study makes man intelligent so that try to study as much as possible

    9. Read news paper everyday and purchase some monthly and yearly magazines for your study

    Well dear as you have got bds degree.so you can prepare for civil services exam.you should follow these steps to do a better preparation for civil services exam.
    <>first of make a proper time table of all the subjects and equally distribute the time in compulsary and optional subjects.
    <>do the hard work and cover the whole syallabus.
    <>read daily newspaper to be in touch with the current affairs.
