Re: Information about UES entrance exam to join Army services.

    Hello

UES-University Entry Scheme is for those who are simply studying in third year of engineering course.
As you are studying in forth year you are not eligible for applying for UES.

But there are many entries for B.TECH degree holder in Indian Army.

    Combined Defense Service Examination.
    Entry in IMA(Indian Military Academy).
    A entry in Army.
    Graduation from any stream.

    Another one is CDSE(OTA).
    Officer Training Academy.
    Graduation from any stream.

    Technical Graduate Course.
    A engineering degree.
    Here also entry in IMA.

    Again there is SSC(Technical).
    Short Service Commission(Technical).
    same as TGC.
    Here entry in OTA.

OTA is short service commission where as IMA is Permanent Commission.

Re: Information about UES entrance exam to join Army services.

UES basically stands for the university entry scheme and this is specially for those who are the prefinal year engineering graduate , so before you apply for this make sure that you must be in the pre final year.
If you like to apply for the Indian army through the same then you need to have the 19 to 24 years for the same.
You need to submit the document attested by the gazetted officer to the concerned department so make the all document upto date.
After you apply for this within some days you will get the call for the SSB round as there will be no written test into the same.
So it will save your one year.
After this if you fail to qualify then do not worry after that you can apply for the CDS examination which is also after graduation.
This time you need to give the written exam.
Here is the eligibility criteria for the CDS examination as follows-
CDS stands for the combined defence services examination conducted by UPSC to select the candidates in defence services.
    Qualification-
Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for the indian army.
graduate in physics and maths or engineering can apply for the indian air force and navy also.
    Age limit-
19 to 22 years for the indian navy.
19 to 23 years for the air force.
19 to 24 years for IMA.
19 to 25 years for OTA.
Candidates should be unmarried male or female.
    Selection procedure-
    Written test.
    SSB interview.
    Medical examination.
