List of Subject which one can choose for Civil Services exam? Can I take Sociology and Psychology as Main subject being an IT student?

i am student of b.tech(it) 3rd year. i want to do upsc. i want to know the different papers for which i can apply. i also want to know whether i can take sociology and psychology as my main subjects for upsc exam. can i also get list of different papers which come in upsc.

please tell me some books for its preparation.

agriculture,animal husbandry and vetinary science,botany,chemistry,civil engineering,commerce,economics,electrical engineering,geography,geology,Indian History,law,mathematics,mechanical engineering,medical science,philosophy,physics,political science,psycology,public administration,sociology,statistics,zoology.
yes,you can choose any two of them as main subject being an it student.

Hello,
Of-Course as a IT student you can choose Sociology Subject. There is no any restriction that you have to choose only Science subject.

You are fully free to choose any stream Subject.

Don't Think anything you are choosing good subject. If you have good writing skills then you can crack the IAS Exam.
