Re: Is it mandatory to complete 12th in order to give UPSC exams?

    Dear..

UPSC is a government body that is responsible for hiring candidates for various departments such as :-

    1. NDA
    2. IAS/IPS
    3. CDS
    4. IFS.

You asked that it is essential to do 12th or not in order to give UPSC exam. Then dear let me tell you that all the exam in UPSC need candidates who has already completed his/her graduation apart from NDA exam that only needs 12th pass candidate. So minimum educational criteria that you must have is 12th class which is for NDA so yes it is necessary to do 12th to sit for any of the exams of UPSC.

After 12th you can give exam of NDA to get into defence and after graduation you can sit for other exam also which are mentioned above.

    Hope it will help you

    Cheers...!!!

    Dear aspirant,

-If you are 10+2 pass then only you will be eligible for NDA and SCRA exam conducted by UPSC.

-If you are applying for NDA then you should be 10+2 pass with any subjects if you want to join only Army. But if you want to join Air force and Navy then you should have physics and maths in your 10+2 .

-For SCRA exam you should be having Physics and maths in your 10+2 then only you will be eligible for this exam.

-So if you want to give these exam then i would advise you to complete your 10+2 with physics and maths because it will create more opportunity for you.

    BEST OF LUCK....
