    Hello,
    Age limit for Most of the UPSC exam is 21-30 years so you will not be eligible for most of them..
    But still you can give IAS exam if your caste comes under reserved categories(sc,st)
    Because Age limit for SC/ST is 35 years.

    Well first it depends on the category in which

    You belongs as relaxation is given according to your category

    For the upsc civil services exam and you can write

    The exam only if you are in the sc,st category

    OR Either you are a ph candidate than

    Only you can apply for the exam

    Age Limit :

    ~ The Age for the exam required is 21 to 30

    ~ The Age required for the obc is 21 to 33

    ~ The Age limit for the sc,st is 21 to 35

    ~ The Age limit for the ph candidates is 21 to 40


    Attempts :

    >> Their is unlimited attempts allowed to sc,st

    >> Their is 4 attempts allowed to general

    >> Their is 7 attempts allowed to obc


    Education :

    ~ The Applicant should be pass in the graduation

    ~ Or candidate either pass in any equivalent degree

    You question is not clear, yet please check it:

    You belong to OBC category.

    For OBC candidate age should be between 21-33 years

    If you complete the age 33 years on 1st august. then you can not apply.

    If you age in not over 33 as on 1st august then you can apply.

    The age limit for the exam is the

    21 to 30 year for the unreserved category.

    The age relaxation for OBC category is the 3 years.

    The age relaxation for the SC/ST category is the 5 years.

    For Physical handicapped 10 years.

    For Ex-service man is also 10 years.

    If you belong to any reserve category then you are eligible for the exam.

    Otherwise you are not eligible for the exam.

    The qualification is required for the exam is the graduation in any stream from the approved university

    Yes, you can eligible to apply for civil services with your age 33 years.because Your caste Kuruba is under SC/ST catogorie.You can avail the age relaxation upto 35 years.You are under maximum age limit for civil services apply next CSAT-2013 , notification released for this examination is on 2 nd February,2013.So,don't miss this final oppurtunity be prepare well...

    if you age a general candidate then sorry you can,t apply UPSC EXAM because age for general 21 to 30 years.

    if you are a obc candidate then age limit 21 to 33 years.

    If you complete the age 33 years on 1st august. then you can not apply.


    if you are a sc/st candidates then yes you can apply. because for sc/st age 21 to 35 years.

    Age Limit For UPSC :

    General : 21 to 30 Years

    OBC : 33 Years

    For SC/ST/OTHER RESERVED CRITERIA : 35 Years

    So If you belong any reserve category so you are eligible otherwise no eligible for UPSC.

    The basic requirement age limit for upsc exam 21 to 30 years
    if you are notbelongs to general you can appear for upsc exam

    the age relaxiation for upsc exam;
    obc-3 years
    sc/st-5 years
    physical handicaped-10 years

    For General category candidates -21-30 years..
    If you belongs OBC category then age relaxation - 21 - 33 years.
    If you belongs SC/ST categories then age relaxation -21 - 35 years.
    So conclusion age is depend upon on your category.

    If you belong from OBC or SC/ST category then you are eligible otherwise you are not eligible for UPSC Exam.

    AGE LIMIT

    age should be 21 to 30 years
    age relaxation for OBC candidate 3 years
    age relaxation for SC/ST candidate 5 years

    Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Civil Services Exams 2013 :

    A bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks and 45% marks for SC/ST category candidates.

    Age should be between 21-30 years and relaxation in age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST category and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

    If you belong to SC/ST category then you can apply for UPSC Civil Services exams as - IAS, IPS, IFS till the age of 35 years but if you are in other category then you are not eligible for any UPSC exam

    To apply for UPSC exams:-

    You should have completed graduation from a good university.
    Your age should be between:-

    General= 21-30 years
    OBC=21-33 years
    SC/ST= 21-35 years.


    You should have these criteria fulfilled to apply for UPSC exams.
