    Name the exam that will help me in getting job in Customs Department. When the notification will get released.

    Sir/Madam
    i have completed my graduation. Im interested to enter into Customs. What is the name of the exam i should write and when will the notification get released?

    UPSC is your gate for Customs services. IRS cover both Income tax and customs and central excise jobs. and this is a group A services.

    Notification comes every year in month of November to December on www.upsc.gov.in

    UPSC civil service examination,is the exam for entry in customs.Civil service exams are conducted for different post like IAS,IPS,IFS,along with that there is IRS(Indian Revenue Services) which includes custom service and excise duty.

    Friend, I am glad to inform to you that after completion of graduation, you can apply for COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAMINATION (CGLE) conducted by Staff Selection Commission every year for joining Custom department, excise department, income tax department, CBI, defence ministry, home ministry, and various other ministries of Central Government.Required eligibility criteria for CGLE is mentioned below:# Indian Nationals# Must have completed any graduation degree# No bar of any percentage marks in graduation# Age limit fixed is 18-27 years# Age relaxation in upper age: * By 3 years for OBC category * By 5 years for SC/ST category * By 10 years for PWD and Ex-servicemen categoryExamination pattern: Tier I (Preliminary Exam of objective type) Reasoning Ability (50 marks) General English (50 marks) General Studies & Current Affairs (50 marks) Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks) Tier II (Main Exam of objective type) Quantitative Aptitude (200 Marks) General English (200 Marks) Tier III (Skill Test/Interview)
