    Re: Are diploma holders eligible for UPSC exams?

    Dear Friend,

    In my opinion , your ask is in complete this is because , yes there are some UPSC Exams for which diploma holders are eligible but they are ineligible for a majority of UPSC Exams.

    The UPSC Exams for which you are eligible as per your educational qualifications are :

    * NDA & NA Examination

    * SCRA Examination

    The Educational qualification that you require for the above mentioned exams is that you must have passed 12th from any recognized board or any equivalent examination.

    This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

    Re: Are diploma holders eligible for UPSC exams?

    Dear,
    The essential qualification for the CSAT, CDS, CPF(AC) & IES(Indian Engineering Service) is to pass the Bachelors degree at any recognized university in any discipline. So as a diploma holders, you will not be eligible for the examination. For appearing the above said examination, you have to complete the B.tech examination successfully at any recognized University. You can appear for the IES(Indian Engineering Service), if you will be passed in only three trade, i.e, M for oechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Butther above said examination, you have to pass the B.tech degree at any recognized university in any discipline. Best of Luck.
