Re: Is it possible to join NDA without appearing in UPSC exam?

Dear for your kind information that it is really not possible to join NDA & NA Department without getting qualified in the written examination and SSB Interview test of the board because there is only one selection procedure of this board and without that you can not get enter in the NDA or NA department and the complete selection procedure is following for the NDA examination

    Eligibility Criteria

Indian Military : Must have passed in class 12th in any discipline from a recognized board

Indian Navy and Air Force : Must have passed in class 12th with mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject

Age of the candidate should not be less than 16.5 years and more than 19 years

Examination Pattern for NDA Examination : There would be following papers conducted in objective type pattern

    1. Mathematics - 300 marks
    2. General Ability Test - 600 marks

Total marks alloted for both papers - 900 and qualifying in each and every single subject is necessary for every candidate and if you get selected in the written examination then you would be called for interview process under SSB Board which is following

SSB Interview and Personality Test : It has separate marks and your final selection depends on the performance of both written examination and interview process so that you should work hard for both sections and if you get selected in the interview process then you would be called for physical and medical standards test in which you have to get qualified according to the standards of the UPSC board

I have attached some previous years question papers to prepare for this examination please download all the question papers and prepare well for the examination and the dates are following for UPSC NDA examination

    Hello

Let me tell you that,NDA exam is itself conducted by the UPSC.The NDA is conducted by the UPSC ,in fact the entrance exam is conducted by the UPSC.
After the entrance, there is a SSB(Selection Service Board) interview, and then the medical fitness.

The later two stages are not conducted by the UPSC,but are conducted by the respective wings of the defence sectors, but the common entrance test is conducted by the UPSC.

Hence the exam is conducted by the UPSC ,appearing for the NDA means appearing for the UPSC only.

    hi
I think you need to get cleared about the facts of upsc and upsc exams.
NDA is the exam which is conducted by the union public service commission UPSC. And there is yet another exam upsc civil services exam which is also conducted by the upsc.
And there is no relation in both the exams. If you want to give the NDA exam you need to fill the criteria that you should be in class 12th or have cleared class 12th while giving the NDA exam and your age should be in between 16.5-19 years of age.
