    Is it possible to write UPSC IES exam while pursuing final year B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering?

    currently i doing my BE in electrical and electronics engineering, now i wish write UPSC (IES) exam.
    it is possible??

    hi aspirant,

    the answer to your question is yes. ofcourse you are eligible to appear in your final year provided you complete 21 years of age as on august in the year of exam.
    so go ahead prepare well and do well.all the best.

    yes you are eligible, provided you are not less than 21 years of age as on aug month of the year you are going to apply.
    If successfully cleared the written examination, then you have to provide proof for passing the final examination (ie course completion) at the time of interview.

    Hi Aspirant

    Yes you are fully eligible to write the Indian Engineering Services exam

    And as the final year student of engineering you can write the exam

    And b.tech degree holders with electronics are also eligible for the exam

    The Educational Qualification for the IES:

    -The candidate should be pass in B.Tech degree from a recognized University

    -The Candidate of the final year are also eligible for the exam


    Age Criteria:

    -The age of the candidate should be between 21-30

    -The age relaxation given to the obc 3 years

    -The age relaxation given to the sc,st is 5 years

    -Also the age relaxation given to the ph is 10 years
