I am studying XI std., I want to apply for SCRA after completing my XII. I want to know the procedure, qualifications etc., for the same.

SCRA stands for the special class railway apprentices examination.
If you like to go for this then you need to fulfill all the required eligibilitycriteria for the same as follows-
A candidate should be 10+2 passed in physics ,chemistry and maths with first or second division from a recognised board or university from the state government of india.
There should be three subjects that a candidates required before they apply and these are physics , chemistry and mathematics.
Age required to apply for the SCRA should be 17 to 21 years of age.
Here is the examination pattern for the examination as follows-
There will be 2 parts in the examination first will be written part.
2nd will be personality test.
There will be 3 papers in the written examination-
Paper 1 general ability test.
Paper 2 physical science.
Paper 3 mathematics.
Total marks will be 600 for the three papers.
Part 2 will be personality test carrying the maximum of 200 marks for those who have qualified the writen test.

Now you are in 11th standard,you can not join SCRA exam.

After 12th standard with PCM subjects,you can join SCRA exam.

Qualification;-

>>12th standard from a recognized board with PCM subjects.

>>Age limit is 17-21 years.

You will have to appesr for SCRA exam.SCRA exam is considered on of the toughest exam. For clearing scra you will have to study hard.Below i have listed eligiblity criteria for the same. below are the eligibility details for the scra exam:

Basic qualifications are listed below:
Age limit------ 17- 21 years.

Age relaxation
SC/ST------5 years
OBC-----3 years


Educational qualificatios

First or second division, in the Intermediate with Mathematics and atleast one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry .
Graduates with Mathematics and atleast one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects.

SCRA notification is given 05/10/2014 in Employment Newspaper.
Last dates of application is 04/11/2014
Date of Exam is 12/01/2014

## The minimum educational qualification required to apply for SCRA examination is 12th pass in 1st or 2nd division with Mathematics,Physics and Chemistry subjects from recognised institution
## So, to apply for SCRA EXAM, you must complete 12th standard with PCM
