    Required Educational Qualification and age Criteria for IAS Exam is given below:

    Educational Qualification: Candidate must be Graduate from any recognized university

    AgeLimitation: Candidateshould be between 21-30 years

    Age relaxation for:

    SC/ST : 5 years
    OBC : 3 years
    State of Jammu and Cashmir : 5years
    Defence Services Personnel : 5 years
    Ex-Servicemen : 5 years


    Numbersof Attempts:

    For General Candidate 4 Attempts
    For OBC Candidate 7 Attempts
    For SC/ST Candidate No Limits

    ExaminationSchedule:


    It consists of main exam Written test andinterview.

    The mainexamination comprises of Nine papers.

    Paper-I : One of the Indian Language to be selected by the candidate from 22 languages. : Marks 300

    Paper-2 : English : Marks 300

    Paper-3 : Essay : Marks 200

    Paper-4 & 5 :General Study (300 Marks Each) : Marks 600

    Paper- 5,6,7,8,9 : Any Two subject to beselected : Marks 1200
    (Each having Two Papers &300 marks for each paper)

    Interview (in the medium you choose) total marks300

    Selection of subject is depends on your choice.

    You should take decision yourself.

    You should choose your favorite subject, In which subject you are interested you should select those.

    The eligibility for the exam is:

    *you have passed your graduation in any stream from recognized university.

    *age limit 21-30 yrs..

    And you can apply for it at www.upsconline.nic.in

    and for your info there is no subject in ias which you can find easy as this exam is the toughest exam...

    Final Year Candidate can also apply from UPSC Exam, but candidate should verify before mains exam if he/she Clears prelims exam.

    >> Age limit is 21-30 years

    >> You can give Following times Attempt according to Category:

    General Category: 4 Attempts

    OBC: 7 Attempts

    PH: 7 Attempts

    SC/ST: No Limits

    >> There three steps in UPSC Exam.


    >> First Step Is Prelims Exam.

    >> There is multiple choice Questions paper

    The requirement for the exam is:

    *you have done graduation in any stream from recognized university
    *age limit 21-30 yrs.
    To become civil servant you need to apply for it after notification and then the exam held consists of;
    1.Prelims (written) and after clearing it;
    2.Mains (written) and finally;
    3.Interview.

    or appearing final year students but they have to submit their dmc before interview

    UPSC Civil Service exam is organized by the Union Public Service Commission once in a year years.

    Civil Service exam is the toughest exam of India.

    To apply for the Civil Service exam you need to satisfy the its eligibility criteria.

    Should be graduated from recognized university or colleges.

    Age must be between 21 to 30 years.

    Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for general candidates.

    You must be Indian.

    In the civil service mains exam you will have to choose the optional subject. You should choose the optional subject as per your interest and knowledge.

    Every subject is good to crack the Civil service exam, so friend first check your interest and then choose the subject.

    You can choose any subject for appearing in ias exam.
    Because according to new pattern all subjects question are come in ias exam
    especially from science and arts.

    To become an ias officer.

    1)-you must be graduated from any recognised university.
    )-no percentage is required only graduation is required to appear
    in ias exam.

    Age limit is different for different casts candidates :-

    1)- for general candidates age limit is 21-30.
    2)- for obc candidates age limit is 21-33.
    3)- for sc, st candidates age limit is 21-35.

    Number of oppertunities for different candidates :-

    1)- Only 4 oppertunities are available for general candidates .
    2)- Only 7 oppeetunities are available for obc candidates.
    3)- No limit for sc, st candidates
