    Hello, Indian Economic/Statistical Services Exam is conducted by UPSC. The age limit is between 28 years and not be less than 21 years on January f1st of the year of entrance examination.

    The educational qualification for the exam is bachelor degree in mathematics / economics or statistics from a recognized university. Entrance exam is divided into two levels:

    • Written Test
    • Vocal Viva Test

    Hi dear

    Indian Statistical Services Exam is conducted annually by UPSC.

    This years notification for this Exam will be published on the UPSC website http://www.upsc.gov.in from 18/08/2012.

    The last date for receipt of application is 17/09/2012 and the Exam will be held on 01/12/2012 .


    Indian Statistical Services Exam requires ''a Post-graduate degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from a recognised University'' as minimum academic qualification for the Exam.

    The applicant should be an Indian citizen and must satisfy the age limit of 21-30 years ( relax-able for candidates belonging to different categories ).

    Information Regarding ( Indian statistical service ) :-

    ISS ie:-Indian statistical service and this Examination is Conducted by UPSC ie:- Union Public Service Commission .

    This Examination is held every once in a year .

    Educational Qualification :- The Aspirant should hold Graduation from recognized University . Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination .

    Specialization Subject :- The Aspirant should studied in any one of the subject in Bachelor degree Course ( ie:- Statistics/ Applied Statistics / Mathematical Statistics )

    Age Criteria for ISS Examination :- The Aspirant age should be 21 years to 30 years for General candidates and relaxation will for sc/st candidate and obc candidates .

    So, If you satisfy the Educational and Age Criteria than your eligible to appear in this Examination .

    For SC/ST category : 21-35 year
    Ex-servicemen +5 year

    Educational Qualification:

    Must be Post Graduate degree in Statistics/ Mathematics Statistics or applied Statistics

    Examination :

    1.General English marks 100
    2.General Studies marks 100
    3. Statistics -I marks 200
    4. Statistics-II marks 200
    5. Statistics-III marks 200
    6. Statistics-IV marks 200

    Eligibility Criteria for UPSC IES/ISS - Economics/Statistical Services exam 2013

    A master's degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized university for IES services

    A master's degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics for ISS Services

    Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which are as 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

    Examination Pattern for UPSC Indian Economic/Statistical Services

    There would be following papers conducted in conventional type pattern

    General English - 100 marks
    General Studies - 100 marks
    Statistics - I - 200 marks
    Statistics - II - 200 marks
    Statistics - III - 200 marks
    Statistics - IV - 200 marks

    Interview Process : If you qualify the written examination then you would be called for interview process and after getting qualified in interview process you would be selected for the post of ISS in India

    Dear this exam demands more and more study and which is about 16 hours everyday because the economy is not easy way to crack in the exam so that you have to study hard with the help of coaching institute

    HI Dude ...

    Generally it is conducted by the U.P.S.C

    You must be a POST GRADUATE from the recognized university in disciplines like

    <> Mathematical Statics

    <> Statistics

    <> Applied Statistics ...etc.,


    awaiting for the results .. candidates can also apply for the exam

    And the minimum age must be 21 years

    Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years


    OBC -- 3 Years relaxation


    SC / ST -- 5 Years

    You Can apply for Indian Stastical Service on the base of you graduation degree.

    >> You need to give extra information about your MBA degree and Final year Student call also apply for IES.

    >> So don't worry about your final Semester Result.

    >> You must Set goal before applying to IES Exam.

    >> For Indian Economic Service you must have degree in Economic Subject or Master Degree.

    >> collect Indian Economic Book for Preparation
