    you are definitely eligible on IES exam.
    Eligibility :
    candidates must be an Indian Citizen,
    complete any one branch on Engg Stream,
    age between on 21-----30 years.
    3 years relaxation on BC/MBCs,
    5 years relaxation on SC/STs,
    10 years relaxation on physical ability candidates.
    4 attempts allowed on General category.

    Hi
    There is no problem for you in order to give the IES examination.
    Because for giving the IES examination, you need to be a graduate in any of the following engineering streams-
    1. Mechanical engineering
    2. Electrical engineering
    3. Civil engineering
    4. ECE
    Moreover for giving this exam, your age should be in between 21-30 years. A relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to the obc and the sc/st candidates respectively.
    There is no requirement of any kind of percentage for giving the IES examination.

    Dear Friend,

    Yes, you are eligible for Indian Engineering Services Exam.

    For that exam you should be graduate in engineering and also can apply in last year of engineering graduation.

    For that no percentage barrier, those candidates are also eligible which just have passing marks in graduation.

    Your age must be under 21-30 years.

    You should be citizen of India.

    Male/Female both are eligible.

    Yes you are eligible because they require a degree in engineering.
    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
    A degree in Engineering from a recognised
    university or equivalent. M.Sc degree or its
    equivalent with Wireless Communications,
    Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio
    Engineering as special subjects also
    acceptable for certain Services/posts only.

    Candidates appearing at their engineering
    degree or equivalent examination are also
    eligible to compete. Candidates qualifying
    on the result of the written part of the
    Examination will be required to submit the
    proof of passing the requisite examination

    As you have score below 60% you no need to Worry at all


    Because the condition is that " You must have Passed the Qualifying examination "

    THERE IS NO PERCENTAGE CRITERIA to be Eligible


    But you should attempt for this paper from the one of the below streams only


    (#) Mechanical Engineering

    (#) Electrical Engineering

    (#) Civil Engineering

    (#) Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering ..


    This " INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES " exam is conducted by the " Union Public Service Commission " ..

    The age limit must be " 21 - 30 " years

    There is no minimum percentage required in B.E/B.Tech in order to qualify for Indian Engineering Services Examination. So you do not have to worry about your percentage in Engineering.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR IES:

    ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

    -> Candidate have to pass B.E/B.Tech from a recognized University.

    -> Candidates who are in final year of B.E/B.tech are also eligible for IES.

    -> Candidates who have M.Sc degree in Electronics or Radio Physics or Wireless Communication are also eligible for Indian Engineering Services Examination.

    -> Candidate who holds diploma in any branch of Engineering are NOT eligible for IES.

    AGE LIMIT:

    -> Age must be at least 21 years and must not exceed 30 years as on 1st August of the year of Examination.

    -> 3 years upper age relaxation is given for OBC candidates.

    -> 5 years age relaxation is given for SC/ST candidates.

    -> 10 years upper age relaxation is given for Physically disables.

    NATIONALITY:

    -> Citizen of India.

    -> Subject of Nepal or Bhutan.

    hi dear,


    you don't worry about that and you are fully eligible to write IES exam with any percentage. for IES you must have Engineering degree in any discipline from recognized college or university with any percentage.

    IES exam is conducted by UPSC every year. for IES exam your age should be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 January of the year of exam. UPSC also gives the relaxation in upper age upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

    IES exam is conducted in two phases:
    1. Written Test
    2: Personality Test

    The written Examination will comprise two sections—Section I consisting only of objective types of questions and Section II of conventional papers. and Personality test carrying a maximum of 200 marks of such of the candidates who qualify on the basis of the written exam.

    There is no percentage requirement to join IES exam which is conducted by UPSC.

    IES exam stands for Indian Engineering services exam.

    Education Qualification;-

    >>Graduation Engineering degree from a recognized University

    >>Appearing in final year candidates is also Eligible.

    >>Your age should be between 21-30 years. There is age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

    Hii...
    Off course u can apply for ies if u have below 60% in engineering because the eligibility criteria for ies is only a bachelor degree in engineering. But there is some age limit according to the caste category. All u have to do is to prepare both for objective and conventional type questions. Objectives are a little tricky but conventional are easy. U can solve at least 10 years sample papers for ur practice. Good luck

    no, because you should have a Degree from a recognised university in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics.if u have that degree you can take part

    you can apply only if you have a Post Graduate Degree from a recognised university in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics.

    Why not?
    There is no percentage criteria for admission to the IES examination.
    You should have obtained a degree in engineering in any branch of Civil , Mechanical , Electrical , Electronics & Telecommunication.
    There is no other criteria apart from the age limit & nationality which you are required to meet.
    UPSC only recruits Indian nationals.
    Age limit is 21 to 30 years, so you can give the examination whenever your ready for it.
    These jobs are very reputed & thousand of candidates appear for them every year.
    Just don't write the exam, prepare well and crack it.

    The Percentage below 60% is not a problem. The main criteria is that you must have engineering degree in any of these streams i.e.
    1. Mechanical
    2. Civil
    3. Electrical
    4. Electronics and Telecommunications

    And the age between 21 years to 30 years i.e.
    Minimum Age: 21 years
    Maximum Age: 30 years

    The Age Relaxation has been given to OBC and SC/ST Category i.e.
    OBC : 3 years relaxation
    SC/ST : 5 years relaxation

    yes, surely one can attend the exam if they had passed their degree.but there is a rule, that the which you complete your degree must be incorporated by an act of central or state legislature.

    yes,sure my dear friend you can apply for IES examination,the only thing is that you must pass engineering from a university incorporated by an act of the central or state legislation in india or other educational institution established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as universities under sections of the university grants commision act 1956...
