    IAS
    IPS
    IES
    CDS,SCRS,NDA etc

    ***you must be graduate from recognized university.
    **age limit is 21-30 years.

    Hi

    Civil service 2013 exams notifications are not declared by the UPSC yet.

    But eligibilities are same as that of previous exams.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR CIVIL EXAMS 2013

    *Graduate Degree

    **Degree must be from recognized university

    ***age of candidate must lies in between 21-30 years.

    ****Candidate must be Indian

    *****Age relaxation :

    FOR GENERAL no relaxation

    FOR OBC 3 years Relaxation

    FOR SC/ST 5 years of Relaxation

    UPSC conduct Civil Services exam every year. it is conducted for one of the prestigious posts of India like IAS, IPS, IFS and Revenue etc.

    UPSC has not yet released the notification for Civil Services Exam-2013.
    you can check notification in employment newspaper or for notification keep visiting UPSC official website:

    Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services Exam:

    1. Graduation in any stream.

    2. age limit:

    • general: 21 years to 30 years
    • OBC: 21 years to 33 years
    • Sc/ST: 21 years to 35 years
    You must have attained the age of lower limit on 1 August of the year of exam and you must not have attained the age of upper limit on that date.

    generally civil services examination is called as upsc examination because it is the biggest examination of upsc.


    civil services examination is one of the toughest examination in the country but also in one of the most preferable examination.
    because it gives us the most prominent post in indian which is ias/ips ..............

    THAT MEANS IF YOU WANT TO BECOME AN IAS/IPS OFFICER THAN YOU HAVE TO CLEAR THE CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION.

    to become an ias/ips officer you must have the qualifications given below under the different criteria(s).


    ELIGIBILITIES REQUIRED:-

    *1. the candidate must be the citizen of India .

    *2. the candidate must be a graduate with a ugc recognized university.

    AGE CRITERA:-

    * for general candidates:- 21-30 years.
    * for obc category:-21-33 years.

    NO. OF ATTEMPTS :-

    1. FOR GENERAL:- 4 ATTEMPTS.
    2. FOR OBC :- 7 ATTEMPTS.

    The notification for the exam comes in the month of feb.The prelims is held in the month of May and the mains exam is held in the month of Nov.
    Check the UPSC website for list of subjects and guidelines for the exam.

    UPSC civil services preliminary exam will be conducted on 19 th may 2013.
    Notification for this exam will be issued on 2nd FEb 2013 in Employment news weekly and in upsc website upsc.gov.in
    Last date to apply will be 4th March 2013
    Eligibility:
    1) A citizen of India
    2) Age limit: 21-30 years for general
    for OBC- 3 year age relaxation applicable
    for Sc/ST- 5 year age relaxation applicable
    3) A bachelor's degree from any recognized university is the minimum educational qualification. Final year students can also apply
    4) number of attempts: 4 for general; 7 for OBC, no restriction in number of attempts for SC/ST;
    Scheme of exam:
    stage-1: Preliminary
    -Objective type written exam
    - 2 papers for 200 marks each and 2 hour duration
    PAPER 1 - GENERAL STUDIES
    PAPER 2- Civil Services Aptitude Test
    stage 2: Mains
    -subjective/essay type written exam
    - candidates who clear mains exam will be eligible to apply
    - 9 papers for a total of 2100 marks

    UPSC Civil Services Exam 2013 exam notification may be advertised anytime in Nov/Dec 2012 or after it in the 2013.
    Read the exams notification carefully for all details about eligibility,application,syllabus,optional subjects,etc.
    Exam Notifications are advertised in the Employment News,leading newspaper daily and site
    www.upsc.gov.in and www.upsconline.nic.in

    The Prelims exams/CSAT may be held in the month of May 2013 and the Mains exams in Oct/Nov 2013.
    Recruitments will be made to 24 Services/Posts through CSE 2013,although vacancies may vary every year.
    The CSE question booklet is printed in English and Hindi.
    One can attempt the paper in Engish/Hindi/one of the Indian languages from the list of 18 Indian languages mentioned.

    The exam consists of 3 stages :

    1.Prelims/CSAT exam-is conducted to shorlist candidates for the Mains exams.Only after clearing the Prelims/CSAT
    one becomes eligible to appear in the mains exams.Total weithage for CSAT is 400 marks.It consists of Two Parers of
    General Studies Paper 1 & Paper 2, each of 200 marks.

    2.Mains exams-is to be cleared to get an interview call.Choice of two Optional subjects has to be made and two papers of each
    optional subject is to be prepared and attempted.Total marks of mains written exam is 2000 marks.

    3.Interviews-is the test of personality of the candidates which must be cleared to be selected and ranked in the final Merit List.
    It is of 300 marks.

    The eligibility for CSE are :

    General category-21-30yrs
    OBC-21-33yrs
    SC/ST-21-35yrs

    Educational Qualification :
    Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognised University or equivalent.
    Final year appearing candidates can apply on provision.
    Degree from a recognised University through Distance learning/Correspondence course is also acceptable.

    General category-4 times
    OBC-7 times
    SC/ST-Unlimited times

    Pre wud be in d month of May for which notification would be issue in feb.
    Main wud be in Oct or Nov and for dat u hv to clear may exams

    the syllabus will be issue with notification itself. Although u can go forward for syllabus given in previous year and also give importance to question papers.

    according to the eligibility criteria for the civil services exam
    aspirant should havecompleted graduation or engineering

    will be released on 02nd FEB 2013.
    the last date apply for this examination is 4th MARCH 2013.

    The PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION is held on 19th MAY 2013.
    The MAINS EXAMINATION is held on 08th NOV 2013
    according to the subjects selected by the candidates.
