    Hello dear

A commerce candidate is eligible for NDA exam.

But a commerce candidate can only join the Indian army wing of NDA.

He/she is not eligible for Indian air force and Indian navy.

    Eligibility criteria is :

    1. nationality - Indian
    2. Age - 16.5 yrs to 19 yrs.

    best of luck.

For joining the air force or navy through NDA then one must be from science back ground.

As you are commerce student so you are not eligible for joining in air force through NDA.

But if you still want to join in air force then instead of NDA you should give the AFCAT exam.

But for AFCAT exam one must complete the graduation at least.

So first of all you should complete your graduation then you will give the AFCAT exam .

    Thank you.....

    Hello

You must know that NDA is a entry for intermediate passed candidates for all three wings of defense.

    Indian Air Force.
    Indian Army.
    Indian Navy.

NDA-Air Force-10+2 passed with physics and maths.
    You are from commerce background.
Hence can not apply for Air Force through NDA.

But in future after you complete Graduation. There is a chance for applying in Indian Air Force.
    Indian Air Force-Ground Duty Branch.
Indian Air Force-Ground Duty Branch have 5 sub branches.

    1)Administration Branch.
    2)Accounts Branch.
    3)Logistic Branch.

All above branches mentioned requires Graduation from any stream with minimum 60%.
    You can apply for it.

Then your mode of entry will be Air Force Common Admission Test.

Re: Is there any option for commerce students to join NDA of Airforce?

There is no option for the commerce graduate to join the indian air force through the NDA examination, but there will be the option for the indian army after the 12th commerce so you should forget to think about the air force right now.
Keep watching what i am writing carefully.
If your aim is to become a air force officer then its fine.
You can go to your way by making it as your aim, but never leaves the options which you are currently having, right now you can apply for the INdian army so you can apply for the NDA examination by that, after that if you get selected then it will be ok if not then you can follow your dream as you can do the BCOM and after that you can apply for the logistics in indian air force through the AFCAT examination.
AFCAT stands for the air force common admission test you can go for the ground duty branch .

    hi
I am sorry to say but there is no scope for a commerce student to join the indian air force through NDA.
Because for giving the NDA exam, the eligibility is that you should be a 12th class passed/appeared and your age should be in between 16.5-19 years.
And if you want to join the indian air force, then it Is compulsory for you to be having physics and mathematics as your main subjects in class 12th
And as commerce students does not have these subjects as their main subjects hence they are not eligible
