    Is it true that physics is a tough optional subject for UPSC mains exam?

    i want to take physics as a optional in upsc ....but people say it is tough
    is it right?
    what should i do?
    also people say that there are very less selections in physics, is it right?
    plz guide me

    If you are quite confident in Physics then you can go for it but the thing is you choose the optional in a way that you are able to score good in it and moreover this may be true that it is an difficult subject..but if you are able to prepare well in it then no problem otherwise you can choose any other option..

    It depends on the individual interest and the type of preparation. some people say that it is tough but some say that it is easy so don't bother about anyone just opt the subjects according to your field of interest.

    Hi
    you should choose what you are best at
    not what people says
    You need work very hard in whatever you ll choose for ias
    MAthematics is thought to be the toughest subject in upsc
    and people even cracks it

    so what is their in physics
    you have theory and numerical portion
    it is not impossible

    start preparing

    Dear friend,
    I think you are in confussion,if you are good knowledge in physics then obsolutely select physics.
    One should you have to remember when we want to interest any one then automatically we found all information on that.So in my opinion You are in interest in physics then you can select physics.

    nothing is hard or easy till you study it well.
    If your intrest is in physics then you can go for it.

    If you think you can score good in physics you should definately go for it.
