    Waiting for my final year BCA result. Can I attend CSAT exam?

    Hi im doing my final year BCA, waiting for result, can i attend CSAT exam?
    Hi i did my BCA last year, but now i wrote 1backlog subject exam.. So before getting my results, can i attend CSAT exam?

    Hi,

    You can apply CSAT exam if you are graduate from a recognized university.

    CSAT exam stands for Civil Services Aptitude Test.

    Appearing in final year candidates is also eligible.

    Yes, you can join CSAT exam if you are in final year before coming of Result.

    Your age should be between 21-30 years. There is age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

    You must be Citizen OF India.

    You must be Physically as well as Mentally fit.

    CSAT exam a pattern;-

    a prelims exam which consist two papers of General studies.After clearing this exa, there will be a Written Mains exam.

    After clearing these two exam, there will be a last stages of Interview

    yes my dear you can apply for the CSAT exam if you are waiting for your result.
    For giving the exam you need to be a graduate or should be in final year of your graduation in any stream from a recognized indian university and your age should be in between 21-30 years.
    But you just need to take care of this thing that in case you get selected, you need to have all of your graduation documents at the time of the interview.

    Hello Dear,
    yes final year candidate can appear this exam.
    Subject or Stream in graduation doesn't matter for this exam.
    only you are graduate or appearing final year of the qualifying exam you are eligible.

    There are few other eligibility criteria which is also compulsory which is,

    Age of the candidate is 21 to 30 year, If he/she belong from general category

    Age of the candidate is 21 to 33 year, If he/she belong from OBC category

    Age of the candidate is 21 to 35 year, If he/she belong from SC/ST category


    Nationality Should be Indian

    Number of attempt

    General candidate 4 times
    OBC candidate 7 times
    SC/ST candidate no limit

    Well you can apply for the civil services examination during the final year of the examination so never worry for the same and just start the preperation to apply for the civil services examination.
    If you want to apply for the civil services examination then you need to see the eligibility criteria first because there are some things which are necessary to look forward.
    So just have a look over the criteria as follows-
    Eligibility criteria for the Civil services examination-
    Age should be 21 to 30 years of age.
    Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for the same.
    Age relaxation for the civil services examination is as follows-
    SC/ST 5 years.
    OBC 3 years.
    Ex servicemen 5 years.
    Disabled defence officer in army during war for commissioned officer 3 years of age relaxation.
    Examination pattern-
    CSAT stands foir the civil services aptitude test which is the first stage of the examination. It consist of 2 papers and both general studies of 400 marks total.
    MAINS examination is if you qualify the examination CSAT then called for the Mains examination.
    There will be 9 papers of 2000 marks .
    By qualifying the same candidates are called for the interview.
    Interview consist of 300 marks.

    Hello,

    CSAT stands for Civil Services Aptitude Test

    CSAT is conducted by UPSc(Union Public Service Commission )

    CSAt is the first stage of civil services examination.

    It is objective type exam .

    CSAT exam is of two compulsory papers of 200 marks each and of two hours duration each .

    The eligibility for the CSAT is :

    1] A candidate should be the citizen of India .

    2] A candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from any recognised university .

    A candidate appearing for the qulifying exam or awaiting the result of the qualifying exam is also eligible for the CSAtT.

    But if the candidate qualifies the CSAT exam , then he or she has to produce the passing certificate while applying for the Mains exam .

    So My friend your doubt must be clear now ,. Even if you are appearing for the BCA final year exam , then also you are elligible for the CSAT .
    3] Age limits :
    A candidate should be 21 to 30 years of age .

    There is relaxation in the upper age limit for the

    OBC for 3 years
    SC/ST for 5 years

    So no worry ,..

    You can apply for the exam


    C.S.A.T --- CIVIL SERVICES APTITUDE TEST


    This CSAT exam is conducted by the " Union Public Service Commission "

    And the minimum qualification must be
    " GRADUATION " from a recognized university


    Also the minimum age must be
    " 21 " years

    Maximum age is allowed up to
    " 30 " years

    Of course there will be an
    age relaxation for the reserved candidates


    Remember this ..

    AS YOU HAVE BACKLOGS .... BY THE TIME OF INTERVIEW ,.. YOU MUST HAVE TO CLEAR THE " BACKLOGS "

    dear aspirant,


    as you told you have completed the BCA last year and you have already written the exam for the pending backlog and awaiting for the result of the backlog. you did not to worry about that and you are fully eligible to write CSAT exam. because for CSAT you need graduation degree in any stream and final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for the exam.
    CSAT is Civil Services Aptitude Test. it is just conducted to check the eligibility of the candidates for the Civil Services Mains Exam and after clearing Mains exam you are called for Interview.
    Civil Services exam is conducted for the posts of IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS etc. for Civil Services your age should be within 21 to 30 years. there is relaxation in upper age according to government norms.

    Yes you can apply for Civil Service Aptitude Test(CSAT) because a final year graduation student is eligible to apply for CSAT examination.

    Qualification required for CSAT:

    -> Applicant have to pass graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized University.

    -> Final year students are also eligible for CSAT.

    -> Age of the candidate must be at least 21 years as on 1st August 2014 and must not exceed 30 years as on 1st August 2014. 3 years age relaxation is given for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST and residence of Jammu and Kashmir, 10 years for Physically disables.

    -> Citizen of India,Subject of Nepal or Bhutan and Tibetan refugee who came India before 1st January 1962 are eligible for CSAT.

    -> Generals can attempt maximum four times for CSAT and OBC can attempt at most seven times and no restriction for SC/ST.

    yes you can apply for the CSAT exam.
    If you have done your BCA or in the final year then you can apply for CSAt.
    for this your age must lies in between 21-30 years.
    relaxation is also given to the reserved categories candidates.
    you must be Indian.

    c.s.a.t means civil services aptitude test,
    for this age limit is 21-30,
    so you can prepare for the c.s.a.t,
    this exam is conducted by the union public services commission
    so you can apply for it,

    Dear friend yes, you are eligible to apply CSAT exam for waiting final year BCA result.

    For apply CSAT exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

    Final year candidates are also eligible to apply this exam.
