Dear friend for apply IAS officer exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.
Age limit:-
Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates.
Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years
And SC/ST category candidates 5 years.
Number of Attempts:-
General category candidates - 4 time
OBC category Candidates - 7 time
SC/ST category candidates - No limit.
Selection procedure :-
- Preliminary entrance exam
- Main entrance exam
- Interview

The age limit for General candidates for Civil services is 21-30 years.
In addition to that there is relaxation in age for separate categories.
The relaxation in age limits for SC candidates irrespective of their state of domicile is 5 years maximum.
Also,for candidates domiciled in J&K between 1980-1989,there is relaxation of 5 years.
For candidates who comes under both the clauses,cumulative age relaxation is granted i.e. 5+5=10 years relaxation.

there is a relaxation for the SC.St candidates in giving the IAS examination.
The age limit for giving this exam is 21-35 years for the sc/st category.
There is a relaxation of 5 years which is given to the sc/st candidates.
Moreover there is no restrictions in the number of attempts for the sc/st candidates

There is no such relaxation as per the state. The age relaxation for the SC candidates is 5 years on the upper age limit.
