    Dear Applicant,
    -The UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION conducts a handful of examinations throughout the Year.
    -Here I have LISTED below the various examinations conducted by the UPSC,and Along with it,the Age Limits for the exams-
    {01} NDA EXAMS.
    You must be 16.5 To 19 Years of age.No relaxations being allowed.
    {02} SCRA EXAMS.
    You must be 17 To 21 Years of age.
    {03} CIVIL SERVICE EXAMS.
    You must be 21 To 30 Years of Age.However,the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 Years for SC/ST and ex-servicemen AND by 3 years for OBC and Physically Disabled.
    {04} INDIAN FOREST SERVICE EXAMS.
    You must be 21 To 30 Years of age.However,there is a relaxation in the upper age limit by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 Years for the OBC and physically disable.
    {05} INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE EXAM
    You must be 21 To 30 years of age,with the upper age limit of 30 Years being relaxable by 5 Years for SC/ST and by 3 Years for the OBCs.
    {06} COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE EXAMS.
    For IMA - 19 To 25 Years.
    For OTA - 19 To 24 Years.
    For NAVAL ACADEMY - 19 To 22 Years.
    For AIR FORCE - 19 To 23 Years.
    {07} CENTRAL POLICE FORCE EXAMS.
    You must be 20 To 25 Years of age.However,the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 Years for the SC/ST and by 3 Years for the OBC candidates.
    {08} COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICE EXAMS.
    You must be less than 32 Years of age as on the 1st of August of the year in which the exam is conducted.The relaxations are allowed according to Government Norms.
    {09} INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE EXAMS.
    You must be 21 To 30 Years of age,with upper age limit being relaxable by 5 years for ex-servicemen and SC/ST and by 3 Years for OBCs.

    The Age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. If you are appearing in 2012 UPSC exam then your age should between 2 August 1982 to 1 August 1991.

    The eligibility criteria for appearing in UPSC exam is Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

    UPSC is conducted by the indian govtt. for civil services from all areas of education sector such as from arts, commerce, medical and engineering.
    the age limit for UPSC examination is lower limit 21 - 30 upper limit they were some relaxation given to the OBC / ST/ SC of 5 year to the upper limit
    for defence services and for J& k residents of 3 year age relaxation to the uppear limit.

    Union Public Service Commission conducts the varies examination in Once year .

    National Defence Academy Exam Age limits :-

    ~~ You should have attained the age of 16.5 years and must not have attained the age of 19 years and there is no upper age limits for this examination .

    Combined Defence Academy Exam Age limits :-

    ~~ You should have attained the age of 19 years and must not have attained the age of 24 years for Military Academy .
    ~~ You should have attained the age of 19 years and must not have attained the age of 23 years for Air forc Academy .
    ~~ You should have attained the age of 19 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years for Naval Academy .
    ~~ You should have attained the age of 19 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years for Officer Training Academy .

    The age limit is for general category is 21 to 30 years. And attempt the exam 4 times.

    The age limit is for obc category is 21 to 33 years (3 years relaxation). Attempt the exam 7 times.

    Age limit for SC/ST category is 21 to 35 years and attempt chance till overage. Means unlimited

    Age Limits
    A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination.

    The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable in the follwing cases:
    • Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe: upto a maximum of five years.
    • Other Backward Classes: upto a maximum of three years.
    • State of Jammu & Kashmir (Domiciled during the period from the 1st January, 1980 to 31st December, 1989): upto a maximum of five years.
    • Defence Services personnel : upto a maximum of five years
    (disabled in operations during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof)
    • Ex-servicemen including Commissioned officers and ECOs/SSCOs who have rendered at least five years Military Service and have been released (i) on completion of assignment otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency, or (ii) on account of physical disability attributable to Military Service, or (iii) on invalidment: upto a maximum of five years.

    NOTE I
    Cumulative Age relaxation:
    Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and the Other Backward Classes who are also covered under other clauses mentioned above will be eligible for grant of cumulative age-relaxation under both the categories.
    Ex-servicemen eligibility:
    The term ex-servicemen will apply to the persons who are defined as ex-servicemen in the Ex-servicemen (Re-employment in Civil Services and Posts) Rules, 1979, as amended from time to time.
    The age concession will not be admissible to Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers including ECOs/SSCOs, who are released on own request.
    NOTE II
    Date of Birth Certificate:
    The date of birth accepted by the Commission is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognized by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation or in an extract from a Register of Matriculates maintained by a University, which extract must be certified by the proper authority of the University or in the Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination certificate.
    No other document relating to age like horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporation, service records and the like will be accepted.
    Once the date of birth is recorded in the Commission, no change is allowed subsequently (or at any other Examination of the Commission) on any grounds whatsoever.

    Any candidate is willing to apply for upsc exams he has to complete his
    graduation

    Secondary thing is age limit...

    He must have age between 21 to 30 years

    If general candidate can give upsc exams upto 30 years only

    No relaxation will be given for general candidates

    For bc's the relaxation will be given up to 3 years

    For sc's the relaxation will be given up to 5 years

    For ph or ex-service man their will be given up to 7 years

    for the upsc exam age is very important eligibility criteria ,
    if your age is not eligible for the exam then you cannot apply for that upsc exam,

    age limits for the upsc exams is

    for candidates belonging to general category 21 to 30 years.
    for candidates belonging to OBC(other backward class) category 21 to 33 years.
    for candidates belonging to SC/ST(schedule caste/schedule tribes) category 21 to 35 years.

    age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years is given to those candidates who belong to OBC and SC/ST category respectively.

    It depends from one exam to other exam.

    For NDA it is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

    For IES and CSAT Exams it is,

    21-30 years for the candidates of OC Category.

    relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category.

    and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/St category.

    You doesn't mention that for which exam you want to know the age criteria because upsc conducted various exam in public sector as well as defense sector. for different exam the age limit are different which are given below.

    There are various exams that are conducted by UPSC.Basically UPSC is a body which is responsible for conducting civil services in INDIA,the services which is provided to the civilians of our country.The name and the age limits for various UPSC exams are listed.

    1)civil services like IAS,IPS,IES,IFS
    The age limit for general category is 21-30 years
    there is a 5 year upper age relaxation for sc/st and ex-serviceman of government.
    and a 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC classes
    10 years upper age relaxation for physically handicapped.
    here the abbreviation IES stands for two 1)INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES 2)INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICES, and the age limit are same for both of it.

    Dear UPSC board conduct so many departments exams and the age limit for various exams are following as :

    1. UPSC NDA Exam : Should have passed class 12th in any discipline for Indian army and with Mathematics and Physics for Indian Air Force and Indian Navy and age should be between 16.5-19 years

    2. UPSC SCRA : Should have passed class 12th with mathematics and physics and age should not be less than 17 years and more than 21 years

    3. UPSC CAPF : Should have passed a degree in any discipline from a recognized university and age should be between 20-25 years and relaxation in age as per government guidelines

    No other document relating to age like horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporation, service records and the like will be accepted.
    Once the date of birth is recorded in the Commission, no change is allowed subsequently (or at any other Examination of the Commission) on any grounds whatsoever.

    Under upsc there are various age eligibility and it is variable exam.to exam.I am giving example.

    NDA (National Defence academy) UPSC age eligibility is 16.5 years to 19 years.

    CDSE(combined defence service) UPSC age eiligibility is 19 years to 25 years.

    Civil/IAS/IPS/IES/IRS all UPSC Exams age eligibility is Gen: 21-30 years,OBC:-21-33 Years.

    s/c s/t:21-35 years.PWD:21-40 years.

    Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), a constitutional body within India conducts Civil Services Exam every year on an all-India basis for recruiting numerous candidates in different civil services of the Union such as IAS, IFS, IPS and others.
