    Dear Applicant,

    The Minimum Basic Requirement to appear for UPSC exam are:-
    1.Should Be graduate
    2.Should be above 21 yrs of age.

    and attempts are as follows:-
    General Category - Maximum 4 Attempts
    OBS Category - Maximum 7 Attempts
    SC/ST Category :- No Limit

    the basic qualification is intermediate for exams like scra and nda...
    and for exams like IES or Civil services you need b.tech degree
    genrally the tests are limited to 3 for genral category students

    Eligibility criteria for UPSC Examinations:-

    Nationality:- The candidate must be the citizen of India to apply for the Indian Administrative Service & Indian Police Service.

    Age Limit: - The candidate should be minimum 21 years of age and the maximum age is 29 years.

    Educational Qualification: - The candidate should have a degree completed from any of the institutes established by an Act of Parliament or any University deemed by the University Grant Commission under section 3, Act, 1956.

    Number of attempts: - Every general eligible candidate is allowed to attempt the Civil Services Examination 4 times.
    For OBC candidate’s no. of attempts is 7 times and for SC/ST infinite no. of attempts

    Physical Fitness Criteria: - Candidate appearing for the Civil Service Examination should be physically fit according to the standards of the UPSC.


    Selection procedure:
    1. Preliminary(objective)
    2. Mains(Conventional paper)
    3. Interview

    the basic requirement is you should be a graduate from a recognized university

    number of attempts is four for general category,7 for obc and for sc/st there's no limit .

    minimum criteria for UPSC is you must complete your graduation or final year of graduation from recognized college or university with any percentage.


    Category age limit limit no. of attempts

    General 21 years to 30 years 4

    OBC 21 years to 33 years 7

    SC/ST 21 years to 35 years no limit

    Minimum qualification is GRADUATION FROM RECOGNISED universitY in any descpline.

    test given by candidates is called PERMISSIBLE attempts which are different for different categories

    whole things I explained below check them

    UPSC can conducts the civil services examsfor( IAS,IPS) also conducts CMS,IES,CPF,CDS,IFS etc......
    UPSC takes these exams every year.

    IAS,IPS,IES,IFS exams can be conducts in 2 stages namely

    Preliminary exam
    Main examination.

    After completion of preliminary exam you are eligible for Main examination.

    After clearing the main examination you will be called for final interview.

    Preliminary examination should consist of 2 papers.Which is conducted on objective type only.

    Main examination should consist of 9 papers,it is a descriptive exam.

    two conventinal optionals can be choosen from

    4 for General candidates.
    7 for OBC
    No limit for SC/ST's.

    Nationality:Indian.

    Basic required qualification for writing UPSC examination is completed intermediate(12th) examination . If you are completed 12th examination with Science Stream then you are eligible to apply all the services in NDA Examination . If you are completed with Commerce Stream then you can are eligible to apply for Army wings only . Age should be between 16.5 years and 19 years , Unmarried male candidates are eligible .

    Those who have passed graduate degree OR appearing in final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for Union Public Service Commission . To apply for UPSC examination , minimum qualification is graduate degree of a recognized University and No minimum marks required . Pre-final year degree may not eligible to crack the UPSC examination . Graduate candidates are eligible to apply for Civil Service , CDS Exam , SCRA , IFS , CRF Examination and other examination .

    If you want to apply for NDA, SCRA exam conducted by UPSC than the basic educational qualification is 12 th. If you want to give IAS, IES, IFS, IPS etc conducted by UPSC than the basic educational qualification needed is graduation from any recognized university of India. For IAS, IES, IFS,IPS, Indian Medical service etc you will have to go through 3 stages viz; PRELIMINARY EXAM, MAINS AND INTERVIEW.

    The Basic Required Qualifications for Writing UPSC Exams are :

    * You must hold a Bachelors Degree from any recognized college/university.

    * Your age should lie in between 21-30 years.

    * There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for students belonging to OBC Category and of 5 years for those belonging to SC/ST Category.

    * You should have Indian Nationality.

    * Maximum Number Of Attempts -

    For General Category - 4

    For OBC Category - 7

    FOR SC/ST Category - No Limit.

    The UPSC Civil services Exam consists of three phase :

    a) Preliminary Exam

    b) MAINS Exam

    c) Interview or Group Discussion.

    the required qualification for writing upsc exam is the person must be graduate from any recognized univercity
    the person must be indian citizen
    age limits and numbr of attempts for upsc exam is given below;-
    general-21 to 30 years-4 attempts
    obc-21 to 33 years-7 attempts
    sc/st-21 to 35 years-no limit
    ex service man-21 to 35 years
    physical handicaped-21 to 40 years

    AGE limit

    Age of the candidate should be 21 to 30 year.
    candidate who are belong from OBC category can give this exam at the age 21 to 33 year
    candidate who belong from SC/ST category can apply this exam at the age 21 to 35 year

    Educational Qualification

    don't take any tension dear, as per the criteria of UPSC you are eligible for the IAS exam. there are no percentage limit.

    nationality- should be Indian
