    What are the basic requirements to be eligible for UPSC exams?

    i am a 12th and am waiting for my results. what are the requirements to write upsc exams?

    we conclude from below that minimum qualification as per your level is 10+2 from recognised board.

    some examination 's and their eligibility which are conducted by upsc through out academic year just after your 10+2

    1.special class railway apprentices (physics,maths compulsory) once in a year.
    age limit 17-21 years
    2.NDA for recuiting inn three armed forces irrespective of stream bi-annually
    age must be within 16.5-19 yrs.& unmarried males only.


    after you graduation:-

    you can appear for the examinations

    1.civil services examination (for IAS,IPS)

    whose eligibility criteria are :
    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
    You must be a citizen ofIndia,

    or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
    or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.


    You must be of 21 to 30 years of age. HOWEVER,there is a relaxation in the upper age limit,
    of 3 years for the OBCs
    and
    5 years for the SC/STs.


    You must have completed your Graduation orEquivalent,from a recognized university under any
    stream,or be a final year student in the same

    The number of attempts is 4 for a General category student,
    7 for an OBC candidate,and
    unlimited for a SC/ST candidate,until he fulfills the age criteria

    2. central police force (CPF) held once every year

    whose eligibilty criteria are

    1.university graduate of any stream either in final year/passed out with 55% in graduation

    2. age limit within 20-25 years relaxation in the upper age limit,
    of 3 years for the OBCs
    and
    5 years for the SC/STs.

    3.CDSE (for recruitments in three armed forces of indian union)

    exam conducted bi-annually

    in which age should be within 18-25 yrs.
    & one must be university graduate from recognised university

    there is no age relaxation for any cateogory

    Being a +2 student you can apply or NDA and SCRA entrance exam conducte by UPSC.

    For NDA you need to be a citizen of India and a unmarried male candidate.

    The age limit for the exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years

    Education qualification includes such as that the candidate must have completed +2.

    Candidate need to be physically fit.


    For writing the SCRA exam you need to be a citizen of India and you must have a age limit of 17-21 years

    Education qualification needed for the exam is that the candidate must have completed +2 with physics and chemistry as subject with at least 55% aggregate.

    Dear

    if you want to give the nda and scra then you are eligible for the exam after passed the +2.

    for nda exam your age limit is 16to 19.5.

    for scra exam your age limit is 16 to 21 year.

    if you want give the civil service exam then firstly you complete the graduation in any stream from the

    recognized university. when you appear in the final year your eligibility for the test is stat.

    but condition is that your age limit 21 to 30 years.

    if you want to the ips post then you also clear the physical test.

    My dear friend....
    to write UPSC exam ...it provides to write those students who are at 12th and those candidates who have completed graduation....this is how means
    here you go...
    now you are at 12th so that you will able to apply for UPSC NDA and UPSC SRCA exams
    if you are a complete graduate then plenty of jobs awaiting for you in UPSC session
    first of all go for above exams
    if you prepare well and then gain those ones otherwise
    after complete your graduation you will need to crack the UPSC exam one by one
    thats up to you
    ..for NDA and SCRA your age should below 19 years
    ...for other exams your age should between 21 to30 years
    age relaxation also provided...

    After 12th you can appear for UPSC exams.

    Eligibility required are:

    Age Criteria: Minimum of 17 years & maximum 21 years of age till date of advt

    Minimum Educational Qualification:
    Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
    or
    Higher Secondary (12 years) Examination under 10 plus 2 pattern of School Education with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.


    Lists of exams you are eligible are:
    SCRA
    NDA/NA

    Dear pal,
    • The basic requirement for the UPSC exam includes age criteria and Academic eligibility. Satisfying which only you will be eligible for the exam.
    • The academic requirement is bachelor degree from any discipline . The duration of the course should be a minimum of 3 years. You can do bachelor degree in science, engineering, commerce, arts, business administration, architecture etc. The course can be 4 or 5 years too.
    • The minimum age requirement for applying for the course is 21. The maximum age limit depends upon the category to which you belong too.
    • For general category maximum age is 30. Backward and most backward can apply till 33. Whereas Scheduled tribes and scheduled caste can apply till 35
    • One can apply in the final year of the degree course if you have completed 21 at that stage .

    Now your not eligible for the Upsc exams because the minimum qualification of Upsc is degree in any discipline from recognized university.so after completion of your degree you are eligible for the Upsc examination.

    AFTER 12th YOU CAN APPLY for
    special class railway apprentice (SCRA)
    national defence academy (NDA)
    AGE LIMIT:
    SCRA - 17-21 yrs
    NDA - 16.5 - 19 yrs

    AFTER DEGREE you can apply for
    civil service exam
    combined defence service exam
    central police force exam

    OR

    IF YOU DONE B.E/B.Tech in civil/mech/electrical/electronics & telecommunications you can apply for
    Indian Engineering service

    OR

    if you have done degree with economics/statistics you can apply for
    Indian economical service/Indian statistical service

    OR

    if you have done MBBS you can apply for
    combined medical service exam


    AGE LIMIT:

    candidate should have completed graduation from a recognized institute or university or should have completed bachelor degree ....age of the candidate must be between 21 to 30 years and also age relaxation is provided to those who belongs to the OBC\SC/ST........age relaxation of 3 years is given to those who belongs to OBC and relaxation of 5 years provided to those who belongs to SC/ST.

    According to your qualification , you are eligible to apply for NDA Exam and SCRA Examination . Both these examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission . To apply for this examination , you must have a qualified Intermediate(12th) exam of a recognized School or equivalent qualification .

    To apply for this examination , you must have a satisfy the following eligibility criteria :-

    SCRA Stands Special Class Railway Apprentice examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year and this examination was already over on 29/01/12 . There is no information about the next notification .

    For writing the SCRA Examination , you must be Indian National OR Subject of Bhutan OR Subject of Nepal and your age should be between 17 years to 21 years at the time of appearing for this examination and Upper age limits is also applicable . Three year relaxation for OBC candidates and Five year for SC/ST candidates .

    Education Qualification need for this examination is that you should have a holding the Intermediate(12th) with Mathematics and at least one of the following subjects namely Physics and Mathematics of a recognized University OR final year of 12th exam can also eligible .

    you can appeared NDA(NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY)

    its conducted by UPSC(UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION).


    NDA EXAM ELIGIBILITY:-


    you should have to passed 12th class with the 60% from the recognized board.

    age should be 16.5 to 19 years.

    you must be an Indian.

    you should be unmarried.



    only boys can appeared NDA exam.


    other you can appeared exam also likes;-

    SSC



    if you want to a good job then you shold have to complete your graduation with the good marks.

    because basically FOR UPSC EXAM you should have to graduate passed .

    There are Educational Qualification for UPSC examination is 12th and Graduation.

    Being 12th you can apply for NDA (National Defence Academy) and SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentices)

    The Eligibility Criteria is Given Below

    Age Limit:

    For SCRA : 17-21 years

    For NDA : 16.5- 19 years

    Educational Qualification:


    For SCRA: 12th pass with Mathematics and at least one of the subject Physics and Chemistry as subject of the examination.

    For NDA : 12th pas from any recognized board

    Exam Patterns:


    For SCRA: Part-I Written Test Part-II Personalty Test

    Part-I is consist of three papers
    Paper-I General Ability
    Paper-II Physical Science
    Paper-II Mathematics

    Each Paper Carrying a maximum 200 marks so total marks 600 duration 2hours

    Part-II Personalty Test which is carrying on 200 marks

    For NDA: Two Paper with objective type questions:

    Mathematics Marks 300 Time 2 hours 30 minutes
    General Ability Marks 600 Time 2 Hours 30 minutes

    Total Marks 900

    These post required 12th pass and other post like IAS,IPS, IFS etc required Graduation.

    So dear friend now you can apply NDA or SCRA Exam. For Other you must complete your graduation.

    With the qualification of class 12th, you can appear in NDA and SCRA exam which is conducted by UPSC.Requirements for the National defence academy (NDA) exam.
    • You must have completed class 12th from an recognised board.
    • Age limit->16.5-19 years..
    • Only male and unmarried can appear in this exam.
    Requirement for the Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) exam-
    • You must have completed class 12th exam where you must have mathematics and physics or chemistry as a compulsory subject.

    As you have completed your 12th examination , hope you pass with good % of marks.

    As per your educational qualifications , you can appear in two UPSC Examinations namely :

    a) NDA & NA Examination

    b) SCRA Examination


    The Basic Requirements for NDA Examination are mentioned below :


    * you must have passed Higher Secondary from any recognized board.

    * your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years.

    * you must be male and unmarried.

    * you must be Indian.



    The Basic Requirements for SCRA Examination are mentioned below :
