    Dear,
    The UPSC conducts various open competitive examinations every year. So please mention the name of the examination that you want to appear. However, there are mainly two or three steps in at about all the examination, i.e., preliminary, main and interview. But in CPF(AC), CDS, NDA, the steps are Written, PET or SSB and Interview. for details you can visit www.upsc.gov.in Best of luck.

    the number of the exam taken by the upsc. each and every exam is different-2 criteria for the qualify the exam.

    upsc take the exam:-

    civil service exam
    nda
    cds (two times held in a year)
    scra
    cpf
    ifs
    gf
    number of the exam held for the schedule of the exam find the attachmentupsc calender 2012.pdf

    you can appear for the examinations

    1.civil services examination (for IAS,IPS)

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
    You must be a citizen ofIndia,or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or, You must be a Tibetan
    Refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.

    You must be of 21 to 30 years of age. However, there is a relaxation in the upper age limit, of 3 years
    for the OBC and 5 years for the SC/ST

    You must have completed your Graduation or Equivalent, from a recognized university under any


    stream, or be a final year student in the same

    The number of attempts is 4 for a General category student,7 for an OBC candidate, and


    unlimited for a SC/ST candidate, until he fulfills the age criteria

    2. Central police force (CPF) held once every year whose eligibility criteria are

    1.university graduate of any stream either in final year/passed out with 55% in graduation

    2. Age limit within 20-25 years relaxation in the upper age limit, of 3 years for the OBC sand 5 years for
    the SC/ST

    3.CDSE (for recruitments in three armed forces of Indian union) exam conducted bi-annually


    In which age should be within 18-25 yrs.& one must be university graduate from recognized university


    There is no age relaxation for any category

    Hi Dear,

    UPSC is UNion Public Service Commission which conducts many examsin which Civil Service Exam(CSE)

    CSE has a misnomer 'IAS Exam or 'UPSC exam'.

    The qualifications for the CSE are:

    Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree (Graduation)

    Age: General: 21-30yrs, OBC: 21-33yrs, SC/ST: 21-35yrs

    Note: There's a considerable age relaxation for the categories like Blind, Deaf-Mute etc.

    The notification for the Preliminary exam comes in May/June.

    Apply for that. And the Mains will be conducted in the month of October/Nov.

    Note: Those who've qualified Preliminary are only eligible to write the Mains.

    first of all you need to become eligible for the upsc exam.
    candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university.
    final year appearing candiadates can also apply for the upsc exam.
    age limit for upsc exam is 21 to 30 years.
    candidates belonging to OBC and SC/ST category gets age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.
