    The eligibility criteria for appearing in UPSC exam is Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

    The Age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. If you are appearing in 2012 UPSC exam then your age should between 2 August 1982 to 1 August 1991.

    NO. OF ATTEMPTS FOR THE UPSC EXAMINATION IS Civil Service Examination - General-4, OBC-7, SC/ST- No restriction i.e. IF YOU ARE COMING IN GENERAL CATEGORY THEN YOU HAVE TO ATTEMPT 4 TIMES UPSC EXAM.

    AND IF YOU ARE COMING IN OBC CANDIDATE THEN YOU CAN ATTEMPT UPSC EXAM 7 TIMES.

    AND IF YOU ARE COMING IN ST/SC CANDIDATE THEN YOU HAVE TO RESTRICTION IN EXAM i.e. YOU CAN ATTEMPT UPSC MANY TIMES WHEN YOU WANT.

    Yes you are eligible with 60% in Graduation.
    If you are belongs to General -4 attempts
    OBC-7 attempts
    Sc/ST-No restrictions

    Dear Aspirant,
    -Basically,there is no exam known as the UPSC.
    UPSC is a body which conducts for the recruitment of candidates in the Highest civilian posts of the country.
    -However,the Civil Service exams are of the Prime level and are known as the UPSC exam by many.
    -The Civil Service exams are conducted annually by the UPSC.The exams are conducted in three phases,namely,
    *The Preliminary Exams.
    *The Mains Exams.
    *The Interviews.
    You will have to clear the preceding phase,to proceed to the next.
    -The eligibility requirements of the Civil Service Exams are mentioned below-
    # You must be a citizen of India,
    or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962,
    or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
    # You must be 21 to 30 years of age,of which the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and ex-servicemen and by 3 years for OBC and physically disabled.
    # You must have completed your Graduation or Equivalent,from a recognized university with any subject or stream.
    Final year students are also applicable.
    ONLY PASSING PERCENTAGE IS REQUIRED.

    #Once you fulfil the eligibility criteria,you can appear for the exams.
    # The notifications of release of forms are announced in January-end on the official website of UPSC- www.upsc.gov.in
    # You can apply either ONLINE,or OFFLINE,according to convenience.

    The eligibility criteria for the exam is below :
    -> one should done their graduation from any recognized university .
    -> A final year student can also apply for the exam .
    -> The age limit for the exam
    21-30 for general cast
    21-33 for obc cast
    21-35 for sc/st/ex-serviceman/physical handicapped .
    The number of attempts are allowed for the exam :
    4 for general cast
    7 for OBC cast
    no limit of the attempts for the sc/st .
    So you are eligible for the exam , so start the preparation for the exam and give it .

    Candidate should have a degree completed from any of the institute established by a act of Parliament or any University deemed by the University Grant Commission under section 3, Act, 1956. The candidates with a degree from any of the recognized universities can apply for the UPSC Exams.

    Number of attempts: General Candidate:4
    OBC:7
    SC/ST: no limit

    number of attempts are based on the category of candidate.
    Number of attempts for
    General Category:4
    OBC Category:7
    SC?ST: NO limit

    you fill the examination form now 2013.

    upsc does not required the highest or lowest percentage in graduation.

    it is only required the degree holder candidate.

    the age limit is 21 t0 30 years for the general category and attempts the chance 4 times.

    for obc category 7 times attempt chance and age relaxation in 3 years.

    sc/st candidate 5 years relaxtion and attempt the chance unlimited.

    Hiii ....friend the eligibility criteria for appear or attempt UPSC exam is you must have complete your graduation in any stream with any percentage from any university there is no doubt about in that question and coming to second thing how much times you can attempt see you did not mention your caste any for general 4 attempts are enough to write UPSC ..for OBC candidates can apply 7 times and coming SC or ST candidates should attempt number of times ...any way my friend all the best ...

    eligibility for upsc exam does not consist percentage bar,

    you just need to get passing percentage in graduation,

    eligibility criteria for upsc exam:

    candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university.
    final year appearing candiadates can also apply for the upsc exam.
    age limit for upsc exam is 21 to 30 years.
    candidates belonging to OBC and SC/ST category gets age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.

    dear aspirant,

    as far as eligibility for the upsc exams is concerned then i must tell you that there is no particular percentage required for the upsc exam,
    minimum passing percentage will make you eligible for the upsc exams,
    upsc does not sets any percentage bars for the candidates to become eligible for the upsc exams,

    as you completed graduation with 60 % matks,
    you are surely eligible for the upsc exam,
    you can apply for the upsc exams.

    number of attempts

    for generals 4 attempts,
    for OBC 7 attempts,
    for SC/ST no limits for no. of attempts.

    eligibility for upsc;-

    the person must be graduate from any recognized univercity
    the person must be indian citizen
    age limit is 21 to 30 years
    there is no persentage required from your graduation

    age relaxiation is

    obc-3
    sc/st-5
    phd-10 years

    no of attempts

    general-4
    obc-7
    sc/st-unlimited

    ELIGIBILITY FOR UPSC:-


    • you should have to passed graduate from the recognized university.
    • you must be an indian.
    • age for general candidatesshould be 21 to 30 years.
    • age for obc candidates 3 years relaxation .
    • age for sc/st candidates 5 years relaxation.


    NO OF ATTEMPTS:-


    • for general = 4
    • for obc = 7
    • for sc/st = no limits
