    What are the Posts under UPSC? Am I eligible to appear in Civil Services Exam being a B.tech Computer Science student?

    hello sir,
    i am doing computer science engg..i am very intersted to the UPSC.kindly tell me the what rare the catgeries in UPSC.i mean IPS,IAS....etc.i want to know the all posts under the upsc

    yes, you are eligible......
    upsc conduct examination for graduates there are only some exams i.e IES for those there are some restriction....
    but as you are a computer engineer you can apply for IPS,IAS.....

    And yes being b.tech computer science you can apply for indian engineering services.

    Yes,you are absolutely eligible for the UPSC exam.People who are having degree or graduation are eligible.

    There are various exams which are conducted by UPSC.
    -IAS
    -IFS
    -IPS
    -IES
    -CDS
    -NDA
    -CRPF

    ELIGIBILITY FOR CIVIL SERVICE EXAM:-

    --A candidate who can apply for this exam, must have completed his/her graduation .
    --The graduates who have completed their graduation from technical courses are also eligible.
    -Final year students are also eligible.
    -You must be a Indian citizen.
    -Your age criteria is 21-30 years.
    -But for OBC 21-33 years
    -For SC/ST 21-35 years.
    -only pass mark is enough to apply for this exam.


    NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:-

    4 for open category
    7 for OBC
    unlimited for SC/ST.

    Dear Aspirant

    Their is number of posts comes under the upsc exam

    From the highest posts Like IAS To the posts

    Like Ifs all is coming under the upsc

    And yes you are eligible to write the upsc exam

    As a B.tech student as for the upsc

    Exam you need a graduate pass degree from a recognized University

    And it does not matter the degree is of b.sc or b.tech

    And the age limit to apply for the exam is 21-30

    And relaxation will be given to the ph is 10 year

    And to the sc.st and obc is 5 and 3 year

    dear friend,

    under UPSC there are lots of posts like IAS, IPS, IES, IFS, CDS, Navy, Air force etc.

    yes, you can apply for UPSC in your final year of B.tech or after B.tech. because for UPSC you must be graduate and it does not matter you have done graduation in which field.

    Age Limit:
    your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.

    And there is relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates(3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).

    there are plenty of posts are placed under the UPSC

    like IAS,IPS,CDS,NDA,SCRA,IFS,IES and also special officers

    coming to qualification you must have a degree

    with any aggregate from any university your wish

    and you mentioned your qualification as cse means computer

    stream

    so that you can eligible for the all posts except nda and scra

    because your age is crossed 19

    Yes btech graduates can apply for the upsc exam and the various posts under it are :

    1.IAS i.e Indian Administrative Services

    2.IPS i.e Indian Police Services

    Also for your information you are also eligible UPSC IES exam i.e Indian Engineering Services as the eligiblity for it is the candidate should be enginnering graduate in any stream from recognized university..


    So you can chose any..

    Minimum educational qualification for Civil Service Exam is Graduation any stream from any recognized university

    Age must be between 21-30 year
    Age relaxation for OBC 3 year
    SC/ST 5 year
    Ex-Servicemen 5 year
